Hi,

I've been wanting to purchase a vape but I don't really know what exactly to get. I'm willing to spend up to 100 for now. Can any of you help me out. I smoke almost a pack a day. What would be the best to replace that? I would love something that would give out a thick smoke. Thanks for all your help. I hope I posted in the right place.

If you don't mind something the size of a magic marker variable voltage batteries such as the Twist and Spinner provide more power for the type of vape you are wanting than the NJOY's you are now using. The variable voltage means that you can adjust the balance of taste/throat hit/vapor production with a simple twist of a dial.

This video is a review of the Twist but the Spinners work the same way.

Between buying for myself and gifts, I've purchased eight Twist type batteries. The ones I prefer are the ones in this kit, EGO Twist Ultra Kit. The voltage numbers are easy to read, the batteries have lasted and the light changes color as the batteries are depleted so you don't end being surprised by a dead battery. Also, the vendor, Vapor Beast, provides outstanding customer service including telephone support.

Hi Ric, All good questions. I agree with your decision to go with a twist type battery. As far as liquids , what would you like>?

Are you looking for a tobacco?

Are you looking for something else?

I would advise something with a higher VG ratio, say start at 50pg/50vg. This would get you a basis to judge from what you do or do not like about that specific liquid. I would also recommend getting a flavor a little more outside the norm just to try and see if it appeals to you. On the question of how strong I would think to start at 24mg, and get some 12mg of the same liquid so that if the 24 is too strong you can jump to 12 and see if thats right for you. Get sample sized bottles~10ml or so. See what you like, then order larger quantities of what you like when you find them. Goodm Luck. Happy Vaping.

Are you ok with ordering from a second vendor, seperate from where you are getting your device?

If yes the I would start at Heathers Heavenly Vapes, Top Quality Custom E-Liquids or ECBlend E-Liquids - Something Better

Either of these are good vendors, with good reputations. Heather's Has the most raved about Tobacco liquids(purity line mostly) and EC has one of the easiest to use custom liquid selectors(as well as good pricing) One or both would be a great place to get started so that you can get a feel for what you do and dont want to vape regularly.

So i've decided to buy this http://www.vaporbeast.com/product_p/sk36.htm?Click=391

Do i need to purchase a better cartomizer or tank?

You will want to have a spare or two, or consider one of these http://www.vaporbeast.com/product_p/c39.htm ..... You should also get an atomizer for testing flavors, like this http://www.vaporbeast.com/category_s/1831.htm with a mouthpiece(driptip) like this http://www.vaporbeast.com/Ming_Drip_Tips_p/a2.htm This is a better alternative to filling up a clearo, just to dump it out if you dont like the liquid that is in it. Just drip three or four drops in the atomizer, place tip, take a few vapes. If you dont like that flavor blow through the mouth end into a tissue until dry, a few more drops of a different flavor until you find something you enjoy. Then commit that you enjoy flavor to a clearo/vivi/etc......

Thank you for all the help. I will definitely consider buying atomizers. :)
