Need help. Newbie here.

I just started vaping in February and began with a Joye 510 because it looked closest to an analog cigarette. I'd already read about dripping, so I also bought a Pyrex drip tip. It was a simple, relatively inexpensive set-up, and I liked that the feel was somewhat familiar and unobtrusive. I got tired of charging the batteries all the time and wanted something that would allow me to take a deep, strong drag, so I ordered one of the new Halo Triton starter kits. It arrived today, and I love it! It has a tank, and the set-up is very easy, even for a newbie.

I thought I would want a juice flavor similar to what I'd smoked (American Spirit menthols), but tried some samples anyway and quickly discovered that wasn't true at all. I'm waiting for another sample box from Premium E-liquid - FanceeJuice.com and am eager to try the MeeseTracks.

I'd agree with some of the others that an eGo battery is a great way to start. That is what I use now and I really like it. eGo batteries from my experience last a very long time between charges too (depending on how much you use it of course).

The most common PG to VG ratio is 70/30 so that's probably a good place to start. Shipping can be slow for any seller that does custom mixed juice. Also, many juices need to be steeped (put in a dark place for a couple of weeks and shaken every day) before they taste the way they should.

To get started with juice that ships the same or next day and is pre-steeped I would suggest Vapor Beast samples and LJ's E-Smokes samples. Both places have juices that compare favorably in taste to the better juice only vendors.

ECBlend tends to go light on flavor. If you want to try them place a small order with extra flavor shots first before placing a larger order.

Thanks for all the help. I got my Ego twist today and bought 2 vision 2 cartomizers. Hopefully that would be good for now. I also bought 2 e liquids 12mg if I remember correctly. If I get a stronger one, say a 24mg will it make the drag on my throat much harsher than the lower ones?

The throat hit generally will get stronger with a higher mg nicotine strength so you will notice a bit of a harsher throat hit with 24mg versus 12mg.

If you look you vaporlabs.com they have good deals on ego's with from what I've learn and been told there the best to start with.

if i can suggest one thing very strongly... grab some Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartomizers. imo they are the closest to a real smoke in terms of heat and throat hit with MASSIVE vapor output...plus theyre 100% streamlined appearance-wise on an ego
