Ok, i talked to the wife...after a long debate i got my way and she said, "whatever just get what you need, your going to do it anyway."

  • so i know im going with the rm2 rba and im going with the reo grand
  • i don't know what color will show the raw aluminum less when scratched besides the raw aluminum one. i kinda like the Reo Grand hammer tone silver black wrinkle but would chose Reo Grand silver vein or Reo Grand hammer tone silver if it is a big difference as far as showing.
  • also im undecided on battery charger i would like. i know i don't want one you have to use spacers, whos got time for that. preferably something i could throw my batteries in overnight and not worry about. something safe but something that has a quick charge in case i forget to charge up batteries. also something i can plug into my car for camping or road trips. links are helpful.
  • as far as wire goes im thinking about getting some 28 and 30 gage and doing micro coils. i already own a multimeter. should i get both or is one better then the other? should i buy this from rob or can i get it cheaper else where?

Okay so here is the shopping list tell me if im forgetting anything.

  • rtdvapor.com Cart
NameSKUPrice: Quantity / UpdateSubtotal
AW IMR 18650 3.7v 1600mAh2rtd-aw-18650-1$9.87

$29.61
NITECORE Intellicharger i4Nitecore-i4$27.99

$27.99
Subtotal:$57.60
Shipment Fee: $6.99

Total: $64.59

so my total is going to be like $285 plus shipping i think is a couple bucks more from remods. so say $290. so beside e-liquid am i forgetting anything? also i know im getting some extra stuff, i know i don't need 2 o-rings or extra screws or magnets or a delrin button cover but i figured i might as well get it now instead of not having it later when i might need it and be vaporless. sorry i know there is topics to cover me on most if not all of these decisions i just don't have the patience to read that many pages.

It occurs to me that you will very soon need more batteries than that too, but the rest looks fine to me. I run 2 grands at a time and i rotate thru 4 batteries for each, but in the interests of keeping the wife on-side, maybe now is not the time! ;)

3 batteries not enough? how many do you need i thought these last a day or there about? 3 should be enough to cycle them no?

Well, let's suppose like me you have Alzheimers-lite and forget to charge one; it happens. But then you go to work and when you get home that one is about dead too - that leaves you only one and the rule is: backups for backups.

You will not have to search very hard to find examples of Reos that have been dropped in swimming pools, or worse - toilets!! run over, and so on (most still work fine - but sadly the batteries do not).

My point is better safe than sorry and i just told you what i use because of my rampant paranoia ;)

I've got a Copper Vein and a Black Wrinkle. I liked the feel of the wrinkle best at first, but now its almost smooth from being in my pocket all the time. The vein has a bit of shine to it, but it seems almost bullet proof. Much more durable than the wrinkle. I wish it was flat though. I've also got some anodized ones, they are very slick and also finger prints and juice show up on them real easily.

As far as your list, I'd ditch the 510/510 adaptor. Can't think of any reason you'd need it with the Grand. If for some reason you think you might need it to run a tank or clearo on the Reo, you are liable to screw up the connector on the Reo messing around with the adaptor. Use the money saved to grad a couple of shorty drip tips at RTS. Also make sure somebody will be home to sign for the Reo when it arrives or make arrangements with Rob before placing order. Playing tag with the mailman and PO will drive you mad when they've got your JooseBox!

My opinion...three is plenty. I have two. I do want two more, but mostly because mine are a year old and if I am buying one, I will buy two.

so maybe all silver vein would be the way to go. and its silver so if i get a deep scratch or a drop and you can see raw alum. it will at least be silver on silver right?

Mine 2.0 has plenty of scratches and none all the way through the paint. I am considering stripping the paint off simply for a color change...but I woudn't worry too much, they are tough as is the paint.
