So i've been on blu cig for 3 weeks now and ive been analog free :D

I'm enjoying the blu for when i go to class or am with family outside and what not but as i was told by you guys (I HATE ADMITTING IM WRONG LOL) it's not enough!

I'm looking to switch to a better battery system and one i'm looking at is the VEA
Johnson Creek Vea eCigarette Starter Kit Johnson Creek Smoke Juice

Has anyone reviewed this? i'm using johnsoncreeks ejuice as well; but i need a good LONG lasting battery kit and something that i can rely on. I want lots of vapor, reliability, and can hold a good amount of ejuice.

if you have anything else that you forsee is better than this; let me know!

thanks everyone!

Looks like that item is out of stock at JC. You could try:

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510-T

Make sure you click on the 20% off coupon in upper left corner. Throw in some Boge 2.0 ohm cartos:

Electronic Cigarette - Cartomizers - Boge Cartomizers

and you walk with almost the same kit and some extras for about $40. Hope that helps and happy vapes

Thanks but im gonna use the blu cig for going out. i'm looking for something i can smoke when home/relaxing like the vea. are the carts interchangeable. Can i use blu carts on vea and vea carts on blu?

thanks

I'm in the same boat as you--I've actually been vaping for quite awhile now, and have more ecig batteries than I do anything else!!! The problem I have is that they don't last long, so I'm always making sure I have enough charged to get through the day. I'm disabled, which means I am home most of the time, and the regular ecig cartridges don't do the trick. Glad you asked the question, because now I can look up some of the information as well! :) let me know what you find that works for you--I'll be interested to hear. Good luck!

Oooh. He looks so REBELLIOUS!

If you are looking for a better battery, laylajone, almost ANYTHING is better than the blu battery. The kit that Liv2ski linked has 650 mah batteries = to approx 6 hours of vaping. The higher the mah on the battery, usually the bigger the size and more long lasting.

Your blu cartos will work with any battery with a 510 thread. You can also buy empty cartomizers and fill them with any e-juice/e-liquid you desire.

Chelemmm, thanks so much for that info! I was getting batteries and cartridges for my Victory and Blu ecigs from magicmist.com but I found the same problem--they just don't last very long. I'm going to check the site out and see what they have. Thanks bunches!!! Are there any other batteries that you recommend? I'm all for the LENGTH of time I can vape, and it sucks to have a dozen batteries charging!!

Actually, having started on Blu myself and having had the same issues, if I could do it over I would have moved to a Twist or Spinner variable voltage set up. The Vea seems okay but seems to be just a branded eGo. My next order is going to be a Twist. The more I sample different liquids, the more I can see how having variable voltage makes sense.

I didn't get a Vea next but went with a Joye 510 set up which is okay but not really enough more powerful than the Blu nor variable voltage.

And Blu does use 510 threads. I used up what remained of my Blu cartridges on a 510 threaded pass through I use at the computer.

This is about as basic/inexpensive you can get and still get an authentic Joyetech. It's not fancy, but I quit with this kit (which I paid far more for). The cartridges are easy to use (they are empty, so you need juice), but boring - I went from here to Stardust clearos and Vivi Mini Novas.

ElectronicStix.Com · Original Joye eGo Starter Kit with 510 Atomizers (650 mAh Kit)

+juice

ElectronicStix.Com · Vivi Nova Slim 2.0ML Tank
ElectronicStix.Com · Kanger EVOD Bottom Coil Changeable Cartomizer

This site doesn't have a great selection of clearos, but the price for the kit is good.

Laylajone: 100 mah = approx 1 hour vape time. I would recommend WHATEVER THE OCELOT RECOMMENDS!!!! She was so helpful to me (and others) when I first came here. Really, anything with a 510 threading, so you can mix and match. You will need at least 2 batteries (one to charge while using the other) so a kit would not be a bad way to go. Along the way, you may try out different things, stronger batteries, bigger tanks, etc. but I think the kit would be a great start.

:) Thanks!!! I am already on the site, and ordered the batteries and cartomizer (along with a charger, of course!) Right now I've got about 60 ml of premixed eliquid (the stuff I get from totallywicked.com i LOVE) but next month I think I'll be checking out some other sites, as some of the prices quoted are much lower than what they sell. I'll let you know what I think when I get the batteries. WhoHOO!! If I could just have three-four batteries I'd be happy..do you know how long these batteries last? (what is their shelf life?) Seems like I've had to order at least two new batteries every month just to keep up with my (six!!!) batteries I have now.

I was the SAME WAY with my stupid blu batteries. I finally got to "chat" online with a Blu rep who confirmed that they really only last for about 40 minutes of vape time! ARRRGHH!!

Batteries should last at least 6 months, more if you "switch them up." MUCH more inexpensive than getting a new Blu battery every 2 weeks!

Ooops. I see you DID order a charger. Smart girl!

I did!!! It's going to be strange not to "have" to order so many batteries EVERY MONTH!!!! So glad I found this place and started chatting! :) I also ended up ordering a "small" e liquid just to try it...I do enjoy trying different flavors, but hate to purchase a 30ml of something unless I know I enjoy it. As far as the Blu...they don't last long at all, and I hate not having a battery that not charged when I have so many around. It'll be a change, that's for sure!
