Hey all,

Ive been diying for about a month and still havent got a wow thats good bottle made. It seems like my juices are lacking sweetness and flavor. Im using all TFA flavoring wiz labs vg and pg and rts nic. I shoot for 10% total flavorings and use splendex as a sweetener. I have a buddy that uses all the same stuff and his juices taste great. I usually stick to 50/50 blends.
I use a app called liqiux as i have a mac and cant get the ejuice me up calculator.
on this app it saves all my flavors and I put them in at 100% pg since there made of pg(is this correct)?
Most of the times its very muted with the flavors or its too much
any help would be wonderful

mix up a 5ml of just pg vg and nic at your normal levels. no flavoring. it should be a little sweet with a nice throat hit. me and several others I have talked to here vape unflavored from time to time just for a change of pace. If yours taste bad with a harsh throat hit then its your nic solution that's the problem. good luck. by the way, I get my nic solution from RTS Vapes and its excellent.

I agree, start with just your base and see what it tastes like.

Looks to me like you've got too many flavorings in one mix, which can cancel each other out, and make the mix "meh"

I would figure out the dominant flavor you want your mix to taste like, have that be the largest percentage. In the Strawberry mix, I would up the strawberry, and lower the Whipped Cream. I also think the sweetener is too high. Try 1 drop per 5mls. In the Sinful, I would up the Cinnamon Roll.

Sometimes, it's better/easier to make your single flavors to determine what percentage they work at. Then, you can either mix them, or tweak them.

I'm very new to DIY and I am only making single flavor mixes at this point. I start with 5ml in a 10ml bottle and vape that. If I like it I'll make a 30 and think about what it could use or not use.

This is very good advice. I'm still newer (only about 4 months making juice) and most of my recipes are 1 or 2 flavors and maybe one additive. Start with simple recipes and work your way up. Maybe try nailing one of your friends recipes. Maybe he could help.

Hmmmm... I make this exact same Strawberry Pie recipe all the time and I think it's absolutely delicious. It's one of my all time favorite recipes! I mix it 70/30 at 18mg nic. Even though this recipe has so many ingredients, I can taste each and every flavor individually and I think that's what makes it so great. It's soooooo good!
