Need specific directions on getting the stats box

I need to know in baby steps how I get the statistics box others have under their posts telling how long they've been clean, how many cigs avoided, etc. How to do this doesn't come natural to me, I know I double click on someone else's, but then what, and how do I get it to come up automatically when I post, and how do I change the stats daily?

it goes into your signature box. It's under "User CP" up on the top left.

Click on a link to get the banner, then copy the info it gives you once you hit the button to create banner. Put that info into the signature box. It updates automatically.

Where is the link to get the banner, and the button to create the banner? When I double click your banner, the link I get says its invalid.

Just enter in your information and click the "create the banner" button at the bottom.
After that, it should give you two text boxes, the top one labled with "BBcode: (Forums)". Copy the text in that and paste it into the signiture box in your user control panel.
(I wish I could tell you in more detail how to get to your signiture box, but I don't think I've got one yet because I haven't posted enough.)

If you click my banner below it should take you to the site. Next select the info in the left box then click on ''create" in the right box. Highlight and Copy the information displayed for BBCode.
Then go to User CP here select edit signature. Last paste the copied BBCode information into the signature box, preview, and then save. That should do it.

sorry, I assumed you already had a banner in mind, and the website to get it from. I have my link disabled, so it doesn't do anything.

So you have to have a certain number of post before you can have a signature box because I can't find the signature box in my control panel in which to edit it. I have my own site with VB so I know how it should be there, I never noticed an option for limiting signature with post count though. I have my banners but I guess it will have to wait a bit...

it's under settings and options in the control panel. It says edit avatar, and then right below that is edit signature. I'm not sure what the post count requirement is, but it's not high.
