I am new to vaping, about 3 weeks, got me off analogs within 5 days. I really like it But the leaking is driving me nuts. I started with a joyetech tank and then bought a joyetech C. I live in Florida so I need something that will work in the heat. I also like to change my flavors often. I notice I get the most leaking when I am outside and when the tank is getting low. Today I put on a new tank and a new atomizer it started leaking about 4 hours later. I have ordered silicone caps and hope that helps. I am looking for recommendations that will NOT leak at all, is not huge so that i can slip it in my pocket.... thanks for the help
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but all clearomizers that have bottom air flow leak, so 99% leak. Nature of the beast. If they have the potential to leak, they leak. You've got a liquid, under pressure and heat, in a $5.00 device (or $15) with air flow coming from underneath the liquid. You are going to get leaking....period. However, in VapeWorld, we deal with leaking two ways. First, we learn to do things that help to avoid and minimize leaking, and, second, we learn to correct the leaking, about as fast as it starts. Some good videos on cleaning and maintaining your clearos:

Very quickly, cleaning, clearing, and correcting leaking and flooding become second nature. I don't even think about it anymore. Problem...fixed. Next. Getting upset that clearos leak is just counter-productive, and the clearo that doesn't leak is not available. To stop the leaks, the juice would have to be in a sealed tank, the airflow from above and the juice below the wicking/heating coil. Generally, this configuration is found on the better RBA/RDA's. My RSST never leaks, all my clearos leak, even cartos leak sometimes. Pressure, heat and gravity working on a liquid without pressure valves....leaking. Gonna happen. Now, if you're an expert like me, you can get the leaking to pour, and frequently. Too little juice in the tank, too much heat, caramelized and carbonized wicks, negative pressure in the air tube, both simultaneous flooding and leaking....mastered them all. When it rains it pours. Clearos leak, dogs bark, cats jump on furniture. And yes, sometimes the juice gets on your shirt (OMG!). I love vaping. It's an effort, I accept the limitations, and I'm a non-smoker. This is the most important thing. I vape, I no longer smoke, I put up with maintenance, leaking, coil replacement, cleaning, new gear, etc. so I don't have to smoke and I can have a life to live and enjoy. Much better than the alternative. Ranting and rambling now....best to you! Good luck!
