Negative Fasttech Experience Tread

I have made well over 600 bucks worth of orders with fasttech over several months as have many folks here on the forums. Some really great items, some so-so, and some just outright bad.

Just so the newer members dont think its the greatest thing since apple pie, Im asking everyone to tell us the negative items or experiences about using them so it will help them peruse the huge amount of items that they have available.

I still use them for certain things as many of us do.....this thread is for the things folks should steer clear of.

I have stopped ordering from fasttech all together. I was just getting too many duds, yes they would replace most of the items, the hassle just started to out weigh the savings. I mostly ordered stuff for gifts and beginners as they don't really carry any items I personally use.

Don't know if this is actually negative but think I should share for reference.
I purchased several of their take on the ce4, basically as freebees for people I acquaint with vaping.

While these are Disposable and low cost, I did not realize they have a spring loaded center pin. Makes por a bit of a pain to attach to a battery and could cause Battery pin compression. Not the best design change.
I would forgo the savings and move to the serviceable CE's or branded devices.

I didn't like the needle nose bottles with ring and needle nose cover attached with ring. .69 -ish if I remember right. Too soft! Don't recommend

Don't buy any clearos unless you're going to put an original head on it. The plastics work great but most heads don't. Only excepton: Innokin products that don't come OEM

I stopped ordering anything from China. Too many problems. If others want to buy from China, make sure stuff meets the description, test the stuff and sell it, I'm fine with that. I'd rather pay a little extra to get exactly what the description says. I wasn't just buying e-cig stuff but other things from big distributors in China and I really don't need 20,000 glass domes that are all scratched up and the wrong size, even if it only cost me $20.00 or 10,000 supposedly all copper beads but when I cut one open find out it's some other kind of base metal.

I have had at least a third of close to 30 egos go bad whether from DOA, the connector end coming apart showing the wiring, or just a short life span.

Both VV type egos I received ( the silver one's with the volt read out ) were bad, one DOA and onbe within a week.

All the CE5 type tanks were just junk... one to two day usable..... tight.. hard to draw

Protank/evod heads not as good as original kangers.

Evods were hit and miss with me and my family.

Dont get the close up glasses with the led lights built in..... just junk.

Power cord/connector for a samsung note 10 is just quirky..goes on and off. ( supose to be OEM )

I agree about the glasses, I got some To help with close up inspection,when building coils. They are useless, But having said that, They are the only thing i have ordered from f/t which have gone straght in the bin.

And i have ordered a lot.

Oh, Ive goten lots and lots of good stuff, just some have been a bit poo poo.

The only bad experience was an order was missing an item and it took a little bit of coaxing to get them to add it to the next shipment. The "brand name" stuff has all been what they say it is and the other stuff is same as U.S. vendors -- can be hit or miss. The liquids seem genuine and lucky for me I like a lot of the Dekang flavors. So far, I can't say it's really vastly different from most U.S. vendors, except for price and delivery time.

The only problematic stuff I've had, has been the 10 pack of Evod tanks. They haven't leaked, but I wasn't happy with the stock coils, so I re-wicked them with cotton.
Apart from the cheap MTB mech, with it's rattling battery compartment, everything else has been superb and I've had a lot of stuff from them.
To be truthful, I wouldn't really class these as major problems, more minor inconveniences
I would stay away from most of the nova tanks though, I buy the genuine Vision products at 4 times the price when I need any.
