I seriously considered dropping the money I had saved up for me and my girlfriend's 3 year gift on a Nemesis when they were in stock recently. It took all my self control to do the decent thing haha.

I've been admiring this mod since I started vaping and I have to say, every set up I see posted in this thread is magnificent. I'm incredibly jealous. You folks have the best taste in vaping as far as I'm concerned.

I recently caught the vaping bug and have been on these forums constantly -- it's inspirational.

There are a lot of sweet setups that are obtainable and some that I consider not. I still consider the Nemesis in the obtainable category but isn't mass produced so there is a feeling of somewhat exclusivity. In my opinion the Nemesis is a mod that combines stellar looks with nice performance features, good parts availability and excellent product support. I just had to have it and paid a reasonable price for it.

The other day I had to restrain myself from hitting "Buy Now" on a Chi_You for what I consider a ridiculous amount of dough, in contrast the Nemesis competes/excels in every category. With features like control rings to match the perfects atomizer to your Nemmy you just can't go wrong. At the end of the day, did I want a mechanical that I would have regrets buying -- fearful of using daily?

Sure the Nemesis may or may not be my last mechanical I buy, but for the time being it seems like a good one to have. Smiles.

I just received my Nemesis #3386 via VapeRev and I noticed the laser engravings are slightly crooked!! like .5mm tilted to the left. Very slight but still noticeable to my OCD eyes. Is there a quality control issue? I know a Nemmy is a Nemmy but damn I wish it was PERFECT.

AND VapeRev sucks at shipping. They DID NOT wrap anything in bubble wrap or used any packing chips. CMON seriously? SERIOUSLY?? my switch has lots of micro scratches now. thanks vr.

meh at least i got a nemmy now! been waiting so long

Got my polished Nemesis from VapeRev today...took 5 effing days and I live less than an hour away from them. Oh well, at least I got it and it was worth the wait. Be aware, VapeRev does not use bubble wrap or peanuts. Luckily mine didn't arrive scratched. Next time I order a mod from them I'm gonna ask for bubble wrap in the notes section of the order...

I really don't think they care about anyone but themselves.

Cripes. Got mine from Vaperev as well. Odd how it was packed just like everybody else -- inadequate. I would think they would at the very least keep it in the supplied velvet pouch. Doesn't make sense. Anyways mine arrived unscratched.

Like the current setup -- thought I'd share. Nimbus V3 Dripper with a Cap It All Vapes topcap. Stealthy and product is amazing.

I have the exact same setup except the tip. What tip is that?

Btw sorry for the dumb question. How do I disassemble the switch? I want to swap springs. Btw is the default spring stiffer or looser?

Tap'd via G-Note2...

Quick question: The extra spring the Nemesis comes with, is that the harder spring? My plan is to modify the feel of the switch. I'm going for a hard, short throw. hard bc with a short throw, it can be easily fired when standing, esp with a huge genny or kayfun on top.

I've lurked around and read that the long bottom contact can shorten the throw. Anyone modify their switch? Please share. Thanks!

I could be wrong, but I believe the extra spring that comes with the Nemesis is just a replacement. Same as the one that's in it. When I got mine, I took the switch apart and stretched the spring a tad, because with an 18650 battery and a heavy RBA, like an AC9 on top, I didn't trust it not to fire when set on end.

My springs were a different length but not any harder or softer. Also, there is a second spring in the switch and a little metal pin that keeps the switch from spinning, don't lose that pin when you take the switch apart.

Hey does anyone know if the diff finish tubes are available? I've got a kalafan edition and I'd like to have any of the other matte finish tubes to be able to switch it up.lol. I figured if I wanted that I'd probably have to buy another neme and I DON'T wanna do that. Well I would love to buy one of every finish but my wife would probably beat me to death with one. Lol

i checked if there was any info on the vaperev site and wutayaknow...

Your Nemesis comes with an extra spring, which is used in the bottom switch. It is a stiffer spring than the one already inside of the switch. If you set your Nemesis down with an atomizer on it, and it fires and you don’t want it to, you may replace the spring with the extra one, which will stiffen the throw, making it stiffer when standing upright.

i just checked and the extra spring is twice the length of the spring inside the nemesis. ive switched them out and the longer spring is definitely more springy and hard. twice the tension of the stock. adds a nice "click" when you let the switch go.

i really like the feel of it now with a heavier throw. makes it feel kind of beefy.

one thing to point out is when i disassembled the switch, after i unscrewed the bottom contact, i found a bunch of little metal shavings underneath it. cleaned it out with toothpicks.

Are there even parts like for a Gus or something that'd fit? I hate putting my neme in my pocket at work since its a kalafan. Obvi scratches are gonna happen seeing as how I use the .... out of it. Lol. Anywhere?!

Just use the .... out of it, I do with mine. Just dont drop it and put gouges on it. These thing are SS, any surface scratches will come off with a little buffing and polishing when you want it to shine again

Thanks for finding that. I missed it. I'm going to change mine out. With a 18650 battery and a large genesis on top, mine is on the verge of firing, if I set it down too hard.
