did a voltage drop test today authentic neme against clone,

1 ohm coil
real neme .19 , voltage drop
Clone, .36 voltage drop,

I then played around with clone cleaning it more used some ox-gard on the threads got it to a .28 drop still was not happy so I changed out the cheap looking contacts that came with it with authentic contacts and bam .19 same as my authentic not to bad at all

forgot to mention this test was done with a mnke 18650 to get the .19 drop on a 1 Ω coil did the same test with a AW 18650 and got a .27 drop with both the clone and authentic neme , im sure the AW would preform better if I used a higher ohm atty but the mnke def hits the hardest at low ohms

Where do you get authentic stock replacement contacts?

atmomaxani has them but shipping is pricey
vaperev also caries them

Atmomixani - Device Accessories - Accessories

I would assume you'd want to replace both the bottom and the positive. I only see an extended positive post. Would that cause trouble in 18650/kick mode?

Note: I don't have one, I'm looking at the possibility, and need info to decide whether this would be a direction I want to go.

they sell an extended contact for use of the kick ring without kick , they also sell a standard bottom contact that can be used as bottom or top it is universal

Okay. I wondered if that was the case.

Another question: How is the false logo on there, is it etched, engraved, printed? Would it be possible to polish/sand it off somehow, without disrupting the look of the tube and bottom?

I noticed the button "sticks" from time to time when pushing from the side. I've found that a 1/4 turn in on the bottom pin makes it better. However, polishing the button assembly seems to fix it permanently, even if you're a little long on the pin. I do plan to buy the solid silver pins and the longer top pin as well.

Oh yeah, I just popped my rba cherry. I built a 1.7 ohm coil with 30 guage and cotton in an IGO-L using an IMR 18350. I also drilled the hole to 1.5mm. Pretty conservative, right? Wrong. First pull, heaven's nectar, my head exploded. I learned to take faster pulls. No more 5-6 second draws. Holy cow!!

I threw my Hcig Nemesis right where it belongs into the trash can! I bought the damn thing about a week ago and vow not to never ever purchase a clone again. The bottom button came off several times, brass pin (the size of piece of rice) and spring and found myself crawling on all fours looking for them all over dining wooden room floor. After searching and finding them I thought to myself f@$k this s@$t. It was my first and will be my last purchase of a clone. I am so thankful for having Bagua and other legitimate devices on hand. I never had to deal with this BS with my other devices.

I think you had to extend the bottom post too far because you left the shiny kick ring in. I didn't see it when I first got mine either. I'd pull it out of the trash and give it another shot man. Worst case you can get your money back by selling it. Hell, I'd pay you fasttech's price right now! It really is a good little mod man.

Mak I decided to take your advice and give it a second shot and I'm glad I did. After fuming for the last hour or so I dug it out of the trash and fiddle with it. I got it set just perfect and this thing works like a champ. My only concern is how do I prevent the screw from loosening. I contemplating lock tight on the threads preventing from backing out. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your wisdom mak.

Make sure you remove the kick ring. It's the slim polished piece just under the top cap. It's hard to tell that it's removable. It will force you to extend your bottom post if it's left in there.

What battery are you using? Button top or flat? Can you screw the post in, snug up the bottom cap, and still have a descent throw when firing?

have you taken the kick ring off? also the contacts for the clone seem to have a problem of loosening if you buy a set from vaperev your problem should be gone
