Interesting thread. I just got a hcigar Nemesis (with the dark brown box not from FT, although have one on order with FT) and earlier today was comparing to a real VW Nemesis. The hcigar clone (replica really) and the real are damn near identical. Vent hole on my clone is the same as the real Nemesis, see the pic I just took. There were only two differences I could detect:
1) The engraving is a bit deeper on the real Nemesis
2) The engraving at the bottom of the button is like shown a few posts back. The font is slightly different like above posts.
This mod really does hit like a beast and looks rad in 18350 mode. Incredible quality for the prices, I am quite amazed.
Out of the box after I did a thorough cleaning I did notice that the switch was a tad scratchy when not depressed dead center. The owner of the real Nemesis said his was like that also when new but will break in with use. About an hour ago I took a closer look at the switch and noticed that where the brass base contacts the SS center post on the button was not smooth, it was a tad rough with machining lines. I took 600 grit wet/dry sand paper and spent a few mins polishing the machining grooves. Started with the sandpaper dry and then wet. Then hand polished with Mothers polish the post area for a minute or so. Cleaned it all up and installed the switch. Low and behold the switch is now silky smooth!
great find chris, I'll open my button up again later and check it out. Do you mean inner surface of the brass that surrounds the stainless pole?
I should have also noted that my switch (inner base) looked hella dirty, so this unit is going to need a bath for sure, just haven't had time yet.
When others start getting the fast tech version in I'll be curious to know if their locking ring/locking threads are rough as hell. I have #1767
EDIT: Meant to ask about venting. Seems the vent holes under the locking ring are well...covered, unless the locking ring is locked. Does that mean these mods don't vent appropriately? I'm sure I'm missing obvious, sorry my brain is cooked at the moment

EDIT II: Sorry just noticed if you don't unscrew it too far you can still fire and have the holes exposed
