Actually the magnets we're asking about are 14x9.5x1.

I just got a message from dkwasa. He's the one that found the magnets. He says that the magnets work great straight from the package. Time to order some. :)

They work! Have used them with no issues since they were installed 3 days ago. Bottom magnet slides onto the post with no effort and the top magnet keeps the brass locking pin in position.

I have no idea about their N-rate but the throw becomes lighter compared to stock springs. Adding a third magnet makes the throw a little to heavy for my likings.

I had the 14x9.5x1 magnets from dx under the microscrope today. They have tiny burs along the inside circumference. After a gentle touch with EcoWet 1200 grid dry wet sandpaper, the switch has become very smooth. All though the magnets does work with no modification, i would recommend to polish the inside of the top magnet for an improved switch operation.
