On FT clone contacts are silver plated, for VB clone i'm not sure.
People are saying they are nickel plated and not true silver plated. There have been reports that people are putting real nemesis contacts in their clones and they are hitting harder
I have an hcigar SS version I got from vape royalty and a brass version from fast tech that doesn't specify who made it and all the pieces/ threads are interchangeable. I also purchased from vape revolution OEM nemesis silver plated replacement contact screws that fit perfectly. I am also going to get a stealth top cap and a real bottom switch for my clone. Funny thing is that will cost me more than both clones 
Hmm nickel does have a much different look than silver and mine look silver. I have a real Hcigar SS mod and a no name fast tech brass one and all the screws look the same. I also have some real Nemesis silver plated screws I bought from vape revolution and they look exactly the same. Interchanging them out makes no difference in how hard it hits nor is there a difference in voltage drop. Either screw brings a reading of .13 voltage drop on a 1.2 ohm coil with a fresh AW IMR 18490 1100 mAh battery fully charged at 4.2 volts. I just ran this test again right now to make sure my numbers were correct. I love this mod/clone it was the best $23 I ever spent and was my first time ordering from Fast Tech. I spent $47 from vape royalty for my SS one. The only difference, 3 days delivery from vape royalty and 16 days from fast tech.
The difference in contact screw color could just be a different silver alloy. Generaly, the purer the silver, the brighter it is. But even that depends on what it's alloyed with. When it comes to china, who knows!
All of the Hcigar Nemmys that I've seen have had the vent holes in the right place, and the AOD engraving is really good.
Just got my brass chemesis from FT...Looks awesome!! Gon wash it and wait for my batteries to come in.
I washed mine and then used rubbing alcohol to wipe it down (after it was dry) to make sure that any residue from the soap was gone. I did the inside and outside of the tubes, as well as disassembling the switch and top cap and cleaning those as well. Make sure if you do this that you don't lose the little lock pin in the switch. It can be very easy to miss. Congrats on your collectible replica Nemmy.

Maybe its just me, but I could tell the difference in both the looks and performance. It does hit harder but maybe cause I'm subohm (slightly). Even the feel and finish of the steel. Its like the difference between a real Rolex and a Chinese fake. Not bashing. But you can feel and tell the difference when they're side by side

Well, that difference doesn't translate to the images very well! Looks almost the same, like they're milled in the same factory and one is finished by a pro, the other, by a ......something else.
I'm sure the feel is different though, you can tell when something is finished by hand, with love and craftsmanship. When a skilled craftsman makes something for you by hand it becomes more than the sum of its parts, it transcends it self. It becomes art.

Got my brass from Hcigar today. Instant 2 tone! Loving this pair-o-clones. Everything matches up fine, but the brass lock ring is stiffer than the polished ss one from my VW clone. Hopefully it just needs a good cleaning.
It will loosen up and don't put Noalox on it it seems to gum it up. I clean the threads with alcohol and use Tuf- Cloth on them. It's a slick lube and protectant.
i've been using my chemesis for the last 2 weeks and love it, my previous setup (sigelei zmax) has been in the drawer since day 2 but yesterday I notices that my fire button is a bit more wobbly, everything is tight and perfectly screwed, are the springs caving in already??
it doesn't really bother me at all at this point just don't want it to get worst, any similar issues with you??

Mine is a bit more wobbly too, so I stretched out the main spring a little and that has helped some. I want to get some magnets for them and I hope that will correct it.
