like most people recently (i think) i started with an atomizer that used pre-made drop-in coils. after a wee while i discovered RTAs and started winding and wicking. even then i didn't think i'd get on with RDAs. how wrong i was. momentum started building and now i squonk as well as drip. flavour like i never thought i'd get. it's like tasting a really decent wine after drinking cheap plonk for years.
those are just the three on my desk at the moment.
in a collection that will pale in comparison with most i'm sure, i have 2 dead rabbits, a drop, a medusa, a halady clone, a narda clone, a guillotine, a coral...and probably others that escape me for the moment. the list features many more that will be gotten at some point hopefully.
so i guess there's little point in this post except to say...rda...all the way (though i do still use RTAs and RDTAs...of course).

I was an RDA guy forever but I have to say there is a couple RTA’s that have changed my way of thinking about RTA’s (I’ll never trade off completely from my Modfather 30mm RDA). I got a Voltrove V1 RTA (41mm) for my lipo mod earlier this year. I love the Voltrove, then I got the Modfather RTA (30mm) and love it also. Mark (owner of Voltrove) just come out with the Voltrove V2 which made all the flaws of the V1 disappear. I pre-ordered it ($100) and got it in a couple days ago and the flavor on this tank is just as you get on any RDA. He wanted to make a RTA that had the flavor of a RDA but with the convenience of a tank (regular version holds 25ml of juice and short version (which I’m rocking) holds 15ml). If you have a larger mod I would def say to look into this tank but only if you have a large mod. I run lipo batteries so I’m using larger mods. I’ll post a pic of the V2 sitting on my CNC frame mod I built.

that...is a very nice looking thing. price is a bit rich for my blood though. pic of your frame mod? grand :)

I build them so they are a bit cheaper for me than having a custom mod be built. I sell a mod like this for $350. That is the mod, a lipo battery and a charger for it. The battery by itself is $80 but comes with a lifetime warranty. I’m not on here to sell my mods, just like to let people know about the advantages of lipo mods. They don’t all have to be the size of the one I carry. I’m paralyzed n in a wheelchair so I don’t carry it in my pocket so I don’t have to worry about the size of my mod. If I have this tank on the mod I will lay it down on top of my phone sitting on my lap and don’t have to worry about leaking n it doesn’t fall off my lap, if I have an RDA on top I stick it between my thighs while I’m pushing. They can be smaller for people who don’t vape at higher wattage. Lower wattage, smaller lipo, smaller size, smaller price but still the roughly the same in days per a single charge.

The reason for lipo (RC car battery) I bet your asking. Lower voltage drop and with the coils I have in my RTA it’s coming in at a .3V drop, on a 4000mAh 3s lipo I can get 2-3 full days on a charge that took an hour to top off the battery vaping at the volts/wattage I vape. Also the ability to use larger coils along with more exotic builds with barely any ramp up (dual series aliens wrapped 12 times around a 6mm rod coming in at .4. NLPWM board at 10V-11V comes out to 250W-300W that feels like it’s 150W-200W. Nice hot vape with insane flavor and big clouds.

I was thinking the same as OP ahah ! Started with a nautilus, then went dtl inhales and tried a bunch of tanks up to a crown III and a tfv8 big baby, which i then tried the rba base that came with it and never really looked back ever since. Now a proud owner of a serpent smm (mostly for at home so i can vape without needing to drip all the time)
and since yesterday bought myself a peerless rda which holy moly !!! Flavor for days ! Can't wait to get a squonker now :p Makes for a perfect birthday gift hehe .
