Yep, I think that's spot on TxTumbleweed that they're tailored for the mods. Work pretty well on my stock Riva lite too. I'm doing a side by side comparison with the 3.5 and a Boge 510lr. So far, the overall hit from the Boge is just a wee-bit better than the 3.5s. This could be the juice being different in each one. I'll just top each one off every night and see how they compare over the long haul. I've found that I carry around a gogo and a Riva. I'm experimenting with good cartos for the riva. Got the Boges, the 3.5 and the dual coils are on the way. Overall the boges on the riva have proven the best for overall hit for me.

Thanks Tex, that makes sense. The carto does connect to an eGo batt, and does function, but the connection has an ugly gap. That's a bummer. I was eager to find a nice looking 3.5ml carto to slide under an eGo cone. Well we can all keep searching. Something new will be out tomorrow if not sooner.

It would be real nice if it did because it vapes real good and holds lots of juice. It isn't as good as the Go-carto but pretty good so far.
According to this video, the 3.5ml 510 carto is slightly shorter but significantly *fatter* than a standard 510 carto. Hence a standard eGo cone is too small. The side-by-side demo is near the end of this video. Now all we need is an eGo cone for chubby 510 cartos. YouTube - New Products 4-7-11
no reason that a person couldnt sand some off the end of the ego cone or cut it down to make the hole bigger to fit the larger carto.

I ordered some of the LR dual coil 510 cartos also and decided to try them being as I was in a testing mood. They hold 1,8 ml and the cone fits over them. With the dual coils it really hits good on my se 750 Riva. Lots of vapor and TH. It has a little stiffer draw but you don't need much of one. You can really tell the difference with the dual coils. It is easiest to fill these with the condom method and give them time to soak in, one full cap and then another cap 1/2 at a time giving a couple of minutes between caps. It seems like a real good carto but mind you this is my first one to try but it definately kicks up the vapor. I imagine it will go through alot more juice than a single coil and also will drain the batteries faster. It is definately one I will use if it doesn't start burning the filler or get dry hits. I just need something to mess around with to use up all my riva and ego batteries because my true love is still the Go-Go.
The gogo is the standard to measure all the experimentation I'm doing with the different 510 cartos.
That is what I thought but it won't work. They are about the same size. The biggest part of the cone will not fit over it.
Actually I don't think you can design a cone to work with these cartos and a 14mm battery being as the carto is the same diameter as the battery. They do work good on the Riva/egos but I will leave these for the modders and wait for one designed like the Go-Go only with 510 threads.
