To avoid flooding effects, I deside to put a small (about 5mm in heigth) rounded catridge wool inside the AFS atomizer.

My results were a much better throat hit and no flooding effects at all even if I hade the hole of the atty always facing down. I smoke like this about 1/2 hour without the need of turning the hole up because there is no flooding effect. I suggest this to all my AFS people and I would like to tell me your results guys:):)

You want to round the atty with a 5mm height piece of wool inside the full of e-liquid AFS?..This will transform the AFS as a round classical 901 filter :) ..It sounds logical

No no ggero, I mean to put this small wool inside the atty, touching the bridge:)

I agree with that but if you drag for 5 secs continuously then the bridge will become real hot and red..This is not a problem ?

Not a problem because if the material is wet, and it will be with AFS, the bridge wicks the liquid down to the coil, so it will never reach bright red, if you ever see a bright red coil it means it is running dry

In any case, in any e-cig with a cartridge on, the cartridge filler touches the atty bridge so I don't see any difference here in this scenario - if anything it would be wetter than in a normal scenario. I'm gonna try it.

Exactly! this is how the atomizer bridge wicks the liquid to the coil, its always touching the material

Hey that cut down on the gurgling sounds too.... and I am getting way more vapor also. I think what we have done here is reduce the air pressure inside the atty tube and restricting the juice flow also. I am going to try making some kind of rig with a hole down the center. Like the Cartomizer so that the filler material is pressing against the atty wall. Then when the juice enters the atty it will soak that but still allow the air flow
