So I am interested in thoughts on the more recent BF modded (by Rob or Chowderhead, or yourself) attys (i.e. Magma, Plumeveil, CLT, TOBH, Zenith, RM5, etc) Thought I'd start a thread for folks to post advice, opinions, experiences, reviews, etc. on all the new BF options coming out... since there's already some threads, info, and an AWESOME video tutorial on the RM2 (and the info could easily apply to other traditional 2 & 3 post attys), seems like we need a place for some info on all the other topper options!

So I'll just start by saying I have an RM2, RM3 & Reactor that are in daily rotation- they are amazing. Best vape I've ever had, and they are all similar (to me). I am interested in trying out an atty with AFC. I am primarily concerned with flavor (but plentiful, thick vapor is a very close second) and I am a M-L hitter, but I'd like to have something that is great flavor-wise, gives me different build options, and I can adjust for big, cloudy lung hits if I decide that's what I'm into in that moment. So just want some thoughts/ideas... read a lot about the Odin... looks great. Wondering how it might compare to some of the other 22mm?

my RM4 (atomic) is hands down the best vape of all that I have (graal, rm2, RM4, ebaron spiral by leo, A5, A7, cyclone (non-afc)), for me personally.

RM4 - I like it's flexibility, flavour and vapour production - its my preferred.
Graal - hands down the best single coil atty out of all the above. low vapour, but massive flavour
RM2 - easiest of all to setup. reliable, middle of the road vape, simple and quick

the others I can give you my feedback if you ask, but that's it for now.

I use RM4's all day long, but i use low Ohm duals most of the time. The versatility of the AFC means i can change the vape very fast, 3 movements of my hand. Unscrew top a little - move AFC - retighten cap.

Flavour chasers i'm sure will chime in about Magmas and Odins, or even Origins if you can get over having to make vertical coils.

MTL=small chamber atties.

All my current attys are small chamber and amazing, just looking for opinions on the bigger ones with more features/options. I can't imagine I'd get the same vape from a 22mm as I get from my RM2 or RM3, but I'm interested in a good flavor atty with afc & multiple coil build options. Not like I need any reason to spend any more $$... :facepalm:

Having just bought a used Reo today I'm bookmarking this thread to get atty ideas. And thanks for starting it.

I linked this thread on Chowderhead's Catfish attys thread... hope people will post what they think!

I'm a flavour chaser, myself, so I'm liking the RM3 and RM2. Recently, however, I've been rocking a RM4 for shiggles. It's airier and I'm using it to experiment with direct lung draws, which I think I'm getting the hang of (i.e., reconciling with my 'natural' mouth2lung tendencies). If it works out to my liking, I'll be in the market for an Odin and/or Magma.

Another vote for the Reactor. I'm using a 1.4 ohm 28g micro coil and the flavor is good even at that high ohms. I like the looks, and that the negative posts are one piece with the base (unusual on smaller chamber atties). There's no AFC but I don't mind. I modded it for bottom feed with two 1mm holes drilled vertically down through the insulator.

All I have are the RM2 and RM4/Atomic but have an unaltered Magma in the mail.

The RM2 has great flavor and vapor production for my MTL habit and is easy to build and stays clean. The screw on top makes it nice for pulling out of my pocket without worrying about any leaks from a skewed top.

The RM4 with a 1.0 ohm single coil has very good flavor and vapor and can be adjusted to match the RM2 in draw for MTL hits if you half close the smallest hole. What I really like about it is the adjustable air control for times I want to lung hit only. I ride an ATV and snowmobile a lot and lung hits are more satisfying when out in windy conditions. Dual coils on this atty are easy but are too warm for what I'm used to although I may learn to like it. The AFC tends to get messy during the day and needs a wipe with paper towel now and then.

I think if the RM2 had AFC like a Nautilus Mini it would be my ideal atty. But right now the RM4 gets the nod for versatility sake.
