Thanks guys! Fast shipping so bring on the hurricane, batteries are ready for you!

I was just thinking the same thing. With all my batteries all charged up I should be OK for 7 days of vaping with a power outage! We have a small generator, but that's for the fridge - the kiddies need food... Of course, all they're worried about is that the beginning of school may be canceled. :)

the new spring is supposed to handle this issue... but you weren't getting it before the new batt...
? does it have the new spring installed?
this is not what you want...
I used my batt on my older first run Vari which didn't have early blinking issues... batts would blink about 3.4.. 3.5.
Now with the new spring they blink at 3.3
shortly after starting to use these new batteries (2500), i'm starting to get low battery warning indicator at around 3.8. On my previous batteries (18490), the warning indicator typically used to start around 3.2-3.4, although today, it started blinking at 3.6. Anyone else with this issue?

i ordered the extended cap at the same time as the new battery so i suppose i assumed that it came installed with the new spring.

i guess i can switch it to the new spring that came with the new battery itself, but not sure why the old batteries are now blinking at around 3.6.

Got mine about 48-50 hours ago and popped a fresh one into my Provari. Still reading 3.5volts on Check Battery. Its pretty ridiculous actually. Once it 'breaks' in i expect up to 3 full days of battery life, which is just nuts. And funny point about the hurricane, with 2 of these + my old batts I'm good for like 10 days without charging a battery lol

I'm having the same issue. I changed to the new spring, popped in my new battery and started getting low batt warnings at 4.0 & 3.9 V's. I tried all three new batteries and the same for all. I couldn't even recharge them, because the PILA was reading them as fully charged! So, I thought, maybe it's the spring. So I changed the spring back to my old one and I'm getting the same problem. I don't even make it down to 3.6. I have noticed that if I take the battery out and immediately put it back in it seems to reset and then I'm okay again for maybe another tenth of a volt, but the provari will completely shut down around 3.7 V.

Anyone have an idea what the problem could be? I'm gonna go back to my AW IMR's tomorrow and see if the problem then continues. FWIW, I've never used anything but the 18650 size battery and previous to Thursday (when I changed the spring) the ProVari would start warning me at 3.5V.

i got 2 and a half days out of my first new 2500 battery, didnt charge it at all when i first got it. just popped in the second one which i did charge, will report back on how long it lasts me.

I also noticed it completely shut off at 3.6v compared to 3.3-3.4 with the old spring with the regular AW IMR's. Im guessing that there is a low amperage shutoff also and maybe these new batteries cannot sustain the same amperage that the IMR's can because those are high drain. Thats my hypothesis anyways. Regardless 2.5 days compared to the day and maybe an hour or two i got with the AW IMR 18650 is great for me.

nope- no flashing till I'm in the 3.4 range with new springs....
Make sure you cycle them a few times before you worry about them though- My first pass on the new ones were noticably shorter....

I ordered another Vari so I can send mine in for changing out the LED window which got pushed in....

sounds weird ... FOA.. i guess it's not just the spring ... yet it seems by most reports the new spring was the fix!

What's bizarre for me is that I had no problem with early warnings before changing out the spring and trying the new batts...

well, 2nd time recharging the battery and fully charged came in at 4.2. however, the warning lights came on again at 3.8. good news is that by removing the battery, looks like it might have temporarily "reset" it as it still reads 3.8 and can still vape. i'll report back to see how long the battery will last me, so far, been about 1/2 day.

Dare I say that this battery is a must if you are a heavy vaper on the Provari ? It has lasted me thru whole day and a half with a CE2 at 2.8ohms and 4.8 volts and 8mls of juice. It has beaten all my other 18650 champions. Incredible !!!!!

Sorry guys, I'm a noob in the forums that just had to express his opinion :). Again, INCREDIBLE !!!!!

Trapped within my imagination
I have a quick question if someone would be sweet enough to give me some info...I'm dying to place my order but, I'm holding my trigger finger still lol....

I want to order the new 2500mah batts.. But I don't own a Pila charger.. I bought the other one that they offered for 24$ (high performance charger)... I also have a Tenergy multi charger- model TR-001...Will either or both of these work?...Thanks for any info guys (smile)

I'm using both the Pila and the Tenergy TR-001 with the 2500mAh batteries with no issues- I need to do some more testing and it's going to take a long time to get meaningful results, but I have a bit of evidence of longer run times off the Tenergy.
