Thank you both (smile)..I'm off to order>>>>>>>>
I have a quick question if someone would be sweet enough to give me some info...I'm dying to place my order but, I'm holding my trigger finger still lol....
I want to order the new 2500mah batts.. But I don't own a Pila charger.. I bought the other one that they offered for 24$ (high performance charger)... I also have a Tenergy multi charger- model TR-001...Will either or both of these work?...Thanks for any info guys (smile)

Hiya Dalton!...I've had a provari for a few weeks...But I'd only ordered one shorty batt ( was indecisive) Glad I held off annnd found this thread lol..
I always buy at least 2 of everything (cept liquid = at least 6 of everything lol) Just couldnt make up my mind and had to try it out asap lol

Seriously that sounds very nice...You have me looking around, I have velvet!.. just not sure what> Textured high strength carbon fiber is or what it would be for lol...What are you using as the box? Hand made?
Batteries couldn't have come at a better time, 30hrs without power. Could be 10 more days before power is restored. Thanks again for getting to me so fast!

well, 2nd time recharging the battery and fully charged came in at 4.2. however, the warning lights came on again at 3.8. good news is that by removing the battery, looks like it might have temporarily "reset" it as it still reads 3.8 and can still vape. i'll report back to see how long the battery will last me, so far, been about 1/2 day.
shortly after starting to use these new batteries (2500), i'm starting to get low battery warning indicator at around 3.8. On my previous batteries (18490), the warning indicator typically used to start around 3.2-3.4, although today, it started blinking at 3.6. Anyone else with this issue?
I'm having the same issue. I changed to the new spring, popped in my new battery and started getting low batt warnings at 4.0 & 3.9 V's. I tried all three new batteries and the same for all. I couldn't even recharge them, because the PILA was reading them as fully charged! So, I thought, maybe it's the spring. So I changed the spring back to my old one and I'm getting the same problem. I don't even make it down to 3.6. I have noticed that if I take the battery out and immediately put it back in it seems to reset and then I'm okay again for maybe another tenth of a volt, but the provari will completely shut down around 3.7 V.
Anyone have an idea what the problem could be? I'm gonna go back to my AW IMR's tomorrow and see if the problem then continues. FWIW, I've never used anything but the 18650 size battery and previous to Thursday (when I changed the spring) the ProVari would start warning me at 3.5V.
Just checkin' back in for an update....
So I switched to the old 18650 AW IMR's w/new spring and early warnings continued (3.9 & 3.8) respectively. The problem also continues with the ProVari Power batts. While I can reset by removing the battery briefly, it's pretty annoying.
So unless anyone has some ideas what the problem could be, I guess I'll contact ProVape... I'm sure it'll work out, I just don't want to be without my favorite PV for any amount of timeI guess I really do need a backup 8-o - hopefully they won't need it because it was stupid user error!

Just of out of curiosity... Are all contact points including the bottom threads clean? My ProVari started developing these symptoms a while back and the culprit was a lack of good conductivity. Since then I've been maintaining it regularly, treating it like an all-mechanical MOD, and the problem has disappeared permanently.
