"I'm not beholden to watts or volts. I vape to taste whether it's + or -. I didn't get into vaping to all of a sudden start caring about math or science!" Man I just read this and fell the f out hahahaha. Funny thing is I'm an engineer that was all excited to have a real life reason to use math and science... three years later the only thing that matters to me is plus or minus.
LOLOLOLOL!!!! As I was reading this I'm thinking.....hey that sounds like something I'd say until I read the rest.....I did say it in a post somewhere & @Katdarling said it'd make a great signature so there it went.

Having to match billing and shipping addresses would be a major problem for me in the winter months when I'm not home (in New York State) but residing in Florida. :(

You can contact the credit card issuer and have an additional address added to the account, even if you do not wish the bill to be sent there. It's done just for those bill to/ship online issues, as that policy can occur for other items ordered online, not just vape stuff. When the vendor verifies the address with the issuer, it will authorize without a hiccup.

When I had a PO box, I would put the street address (everyone has one) and the PO Box.
also for the zipcode, use your PO box for the routing.
Such as zip: 49749-0798... "798" being my PO box
Also helps in a small town, the postmaster knew me.
All else fails, call in the order, explaining the issue....

Question for the folks that have had orders go through and were required to do the age verification. What has to match? Billing and shipping? Billing, shipping, and drivers license?

I don't like giving out anything beyond my credit card online but if it's required and one of the vendors I've been using for 2+ years I'll do what I have to.
Mt. Baker Vapor has a blog post on their site with information about how to verify through Blue Check, the company they are using. Pretty much, just get your order together as usual. When you go to check out, a window will pop up once you put in your address. Just provide the information requested. In a few minutes you should get a text message on your cell phone with a one-time use code. Enter the code in the window, and proceed to finalize your order

I ordered from VaporDNA to a street address and I got slip in the mailbox saying they needed signature confirmation from me and that the package was at the post office. I didn't receive any kind of warning about this, at least to my knowledge. Everything in the ordering process was normal (I buy from them monthly). I'll probably have to start going to B&M's going forward.

For any previous Mt. Baker customers in California, who are you turning to now? I found my go-to juice with Baker so I was really bummed when that news hit. I'm about out of my last bottle from Baker and I'm not even really sure where to go next.

The really sad part about what's going on is as of 3 weeks ago I was telling people I finally got to a point 8 months in where I didn't crave cigarettes anymore. As of this week I've been thinking about going back because it's easier. I don't have the money to stockpile, only maintain at the current rate, which is going to slowly diminish. Pretty defeated.

Well my package that I thought was fine ended up being shown as "Available for pickup" before taking a joy-ride to a different Post Office and returning home. Guy on the phone also told me that it has signature confirmation, but I was not told about this at all by the vendor. I'm guessing either 1 of 2 things, Cali has the Post Office actually monitoring vape mail already, or I went past a certain threshold ($150 sounds familiar?) that requires signature. Not sure what it is, maybe we'll find out Monday.

TJ I used to be a Baker customer and moved onto Heather's Heavenly Vapes. It was a matter of quality, Heather's just tasted better and was more consistent. They don't have any age verification last time I ordered... but you may want to see if my order shows up.

Also if I were you just keep doing what you're doing. There's a really good chance that 8/8 changes very little for customers and that you have two years to figure out a means of stocking up.

Had an order today cancelled due to the 21 law. It was denied because the new system the vendor started to use was a complete failure. Another way they can determine your age is by using your name on the credit card used and asking for the last 4 digits of their social security as well. Then, through databases, they connect the SSN with the full name of the individual to help determine the age.

    CALIFORNIA IS BECOMING CRAZY
i think about your posted 21 age to buy vape stuff in CA,,and the freaking huge rifle my 18yr niece posted on FB today that she bought. (i think she weighs about the same as the gun.. she is a tall pixi)

    smh

It just makes perfect sense right? 21+ for any tobacco related items, 18+ to purchase a rifle , 18+ to become a MMJ patient but have to be 21+ to buy rolling papers to use their medicine.

    Gotta love sunny ol' California..

I'm a little late to the party, but I live in SoCal and have been able to order from Mount Baker Vapor. They just ask for birthday, last four of social, and phone number for a text verification. (I think they match your DOB and address by accessing your CA ID info). Both times I have ordered it took a few extra days to get "approved" for shipping, but that's the only hiccup I have noticed.

Today I tried to order from ITCVapes, but was completely denied :(
I WAS able to order from Vape Moar, which has very good pricing and great reviews. I ordered a sampler pack to see if they can make up for any issues I may have with MBV in the future. I'm kinda sad, I was able to quit smoking in large part due to Mount Baker and I want to be able to give them my hard earned money.
I can only afford very inexpensive juice, but I have semi-expensive tastes haha
I think it's finally hitting me, and I'm getting worried about stocking up now!

Latest order had age verification from MFS. My DL has an old address I haven't lived at in 4 years and my shipping and billing addresses are all different, still got age verified. Didn't have any issues placing an order, didn't have to sign for the package when it arrived. This may be easier than expected.
