New CE8 Clearomizer?

Just trying to see if anyone has tried or even seen the new CE8 (also called CE5+) clearomizer. Just looking for opinions if you've tried them.

I’m confused?

At 1:54 in the Video, the reviewer shows the coil and mentions the “Cloth” inside the coil.

Are there other CE8’s that don’t use Silica Wicks?

I believe he's speaking about the "cloth" (usually silica) around the coil to prevent a short.

Well these look nice, ss mesh replaceable coil. From my rebuildables I prefer mesh over silica/cotton. You should have at least tried the mesh once, this might get some more people over to the "mesh side", since i know alot of people do not want to bother with rebuilding something, torching, testing for hotspots etc. Also the mesh should last longer, so I think consumerwise this might be a big win. But what type of mesh (specially gradewise) did they use will be the big question I guess

I just ordered a few from vaportekusa and a couple replacement heads to tear one apart and see how we can rebuild these little suckers. They sound great. I hope the performance lives up to how cool these could potentially be. My gennys leak and want a nice pocket friendly system to have similar taste

I'm wondering if these will suffer from the same leakage issues between the plastic tank and metal threaded band at the bottom as the previous CE clearos. I've had to chuck a number of these due to the bad adhesion in that particular spot.

I think the OEM's All just jump on the What Hot Bandwagon. And SS has been all the Buzz hear on the ECF.

Doesn't really matter if it Works or Not. Or if it is what it was Originally intended to do. Just put some SS in Something and put a CE_ as it's name and the Search Engines will pick it up.

I know this thread is a bit old, but I figured i'd put in my two cents. Got one from empire mods this week, and decided to give it a whirl with a bit of sample juice I had. Tastes great after a few drags, lots of vapor, no funny tastes or smells, but the issue is... the holes are rediculously high. I can't see it working very well for an entire tank. If anyone has a different experience please let me know, but for now I think I'll just be sticking to my protank. Easier to fill, and it vapes great till the last drop.
