3mm pyrex wrapped with flat kanthal then semi-enclosed with 5mm pyrex. 15mm #500 mesh tube with an expanded center hole and then a 40mm solid #500 mesh wick inserted into the center hole. I get good consistent vapor production with the cap off. The hollow wick provides a much better quality
vape than a solid wick with the cap on.
It does not solve the overall airflow issue, but the outside tube provides a bit of insulation to airflow cooling the
coils. Slight improvement, not revolutionary, but very vapable. Much less efficient than standard genny and gets hot! Still experimental... needs work.
