I had a cat when I was a kid who'd play fetch, with a little rubber ball.

My current cat doesn't fetch, but she WILL come when I call her. From outside, or pretty much anywhere anytime.

(no idea why I have a pic like that, but it's a pretty good fit for the post!)

Oh, and by the way...

I have the only cat on the planet who fetches.

LOL, awesome! I adopted a new kitty from the shelter 3 weeks ago tomorrow... she has similar markings and is just the sweetest gal! A little over 2 years old, so old enough not to be too spastic but young enough to still want to have fun! :)

Great article! Thanks! I admit, I tend to 'smoke' the vapor - inhale it into my lungs after hitting it. It's habit, really. I've tried not to as an experiment while reading the article; it felt foreign to do so, and annoyed my nose when trying to just exhale it that way.

I'll mess around with technique and see what works best for me! :)

Yay for being raised right! ;)

Mine does too seriously. When we got here she was 12 lbs. She fetches all the time..then she got up to almost 17 lbs and just layed around and no fetching. we put he on a diet and she is back down again to 12 lbs and is fetching again. Yes she is the tiger cat named Minnie (who wasn't very minnie for a while) She will only fetch with a certain type of toy mouse though. Go figure.

You can still inhale to your lungs, one of the main things to read up on is the slow light draw, not hard and fast like a cigarette. Most people get into issues with how to draw on it.

Sometimes it helps to consciously try to extend the draw time. But as lightly as possible. Gotta retrain the brain

I inhale the vapor to my lungs, it just feels more like how I want it to. But as far as the nicotine delivery, like that link said its probably being absorbed more while in my mouth than in my lungs.

Glad you got it sorted and things are working again. Did you pick up an extra coil or two for spares? They don't last forever, but can go 3 days to 2 weeks depending on how much you use it. Helps to have a few just in case

Okay, went back to the shop - he exchanged the coil thingie, no problem! I let it just sit there soaking up all the juice it wanted/could for about an hour! Now, it's perfect!

Thanks so much for all the help, guys! :)

Are the replacement heads the coil thingies? The guy said they were $2.99 each - is that too high of a price?

$2.99? could be worse. I looked them up online and the website said they were $4.99 each or $19.99 for a 5 pack.

I bought my last 5 pack for $9.50

Anyway, glad to hear things are moving in the right direction. :)

He filled it up for me at the store, to show me how to. He said to wait a few minutes before using it - he said something similar, about it needing to soak up the juice. After we completed the sale, I tried it right there in front of him. I told him it tasted burnt and it hurt my throat; he said that was normal and that it should go away after a bit. That was over an hour ago and it's still tasting burnt (though not as badly now as the first few times), and is still irritating my throat.

I work in the business , and every now and then you get a bad coil. Also, you should prime the coils first before using as the Kanger

coils are a bit sensitive. Make sure you have the right resistence coil in your tank also, it will read(1.8, 2.2, or 2.5) on the side of the coil

With that battery, best performance would be a 1.8 resistence. Hope that helps!

That's fine, just put it on your list

Yep! Along with a second battery, a second tank gizmo, and some blueberry muffin and cheesecake eliquid! :)

Thanks! This forum has been a wealth of information even before I joined! Whenever Googling something, this forum would inevitably show up in the search! :)

maybe breath slower? i remember when i started it was a bit of getting used to on the slower draw.

I think my 'draw' is pretty good, but it's entirely possible that I'm 'doing it wrong' - essentially 'smoking' my vapor instead of vaping it! I'm trying different techniques; seeing what works best for me! :)

Try out a protank, those are almost foolproof.

He sells those there! Along with a 'collar' so they fit better on the battery? Or that might have been a different tank gizmo he showed me... But he definitely had the protank! I'll look into it! Thanks! :)

Thanks! Things seem to be! I'm up this morning, vaping away with my new alien device, just as satisfied with it now as I was last night! Good way to start the day! :)

jana,if you check the ohms on the coil, should say on it or on packaging somewhere.lower ohms = lower volts, higher ohms=higher volts, if your using a 1.5 to 1.8 ohm coil try it at 3.4 to 3.8 volts but by the looks of that thing not sure that you can change voltage? if you have some cash pick up a egoc twist and a nova tank($50-$55 maybe less online)you will not be disapointed, the tank kit comes with 3 different ohmed coils.good luck!

Yes, that does help! Thanks! So, priming the coil... I do this by allowing the liquid to sit and saturate before using? Is there anything else you would suggest? I'll have to change this coil eventually and would really like to get it right next time! :)

Unfortunately, I don't have the money. Not to get too personal, but I barely survive on disability benefits, so I have to budget for things like this carefully. At some point in the future, I'll probably be game for trying a new system, but it will take some planning and budgeting before being able to.

The guy did have an eGo for a bit less, but my son and I compared the two and liked the Georgie better. I've kinda been eyeing the Vision Spinner... that'll probably be the next one I purchase, unless something catches my eye in the meantime! :)

Vision Spinner is great, I have the 1300 mah, they sell for about $25 online. The Joyetech Ego C Twist is pretty good too, actually the Spinner and Twist do the exact same thing, and both are built well. I know you said money tight, I can relate, either one of the two device I mentioned are really good ideas just to keep in mind. Both of these devices should be able to use the charger you already have for your Georgie.

The biggest difference between the Spinner and Twist is that the dial on the Spinner is easier to read.
