Hmmmm, Maybe this picture doesn't do it justice, but it looks a little bit like the mill got away from you to me. I really love my Buzz Pro, but this version not so much.
No that is by design , other wise it would be 3 straight slots in it , we are working on other designs as well , Time to let the cat out of the bag I suppose.
I am waiting on approval from ECF on this design , we wanted something different looking for you all take a look .

all I have is the bolt looking one , it feels dine to me , not a bother or weird feeling , acts like a grip to be honest, ALL big batt mods will now have these slots IF they are to be ECF approved so get used to it , this is just the beginning .
Good to know! They look comfy and I'm digging the designs. It's great to see yet another safety feature implemented with design...something competitors could only attempt in copy. We all appreciate your efforts Mike and am incredibly fortunate to find your products.

Doesn't look to bad. Though I do wonder how much the slotting will affect the structural integrity of the tube.
Also think it needs a perforated inner sheath of fabric or some other " ECF blow out material" so the batteries don't show thru the slotting.
Seems like this could turn into a good thing. Doesn't have to be a continuous slot, right? As long as the milled out space totals up to the 50mm x 2 mm or whatever the spec says. Endless design possibilities out there. Just the cost factor to take into account,though...
