"Dislike" and "dumb" need to be removed. (Spelling/grammer Nazi is also questionable. )

Too many new members might be offended if their first posts generate only "dislike" and " dumb" ratings.

Upvoting and downvoting like on Reddit is my idea of hell and cannot as a member stay and see that route taken. It's why I don't use Reddit or other places where that exists.

I dunno. I'm kinda looking forward to that in one specific section of the forum.

If those buttons are implemented, then I need a tutorial on what the buttons mean.

I don't see a "dumb" button.. lol. I'm so clueless on these choices. Have no idea which one is grammar nazi etc.

I know what like means, that is thumbs up. That is all I know.

Is this for bugs as well as features/look and feels? Because right now on Aluminum and ECigarette forum the like button is gone (as of 7:30 AM EDT)

Ah oops didn't read all the posts above. Yeah likes was nice. Having it all now as positive ratings like those used in the buy/sell forum isn't all that great. First, it's definitely misleading to a buyer/seller to see likes of posts as positive feedback. Second, it opens up the negative reviews to be applied on posts, rather than trades. That, IMO is really bad. Upvoting and downvoting like on Reddit is my idea of hell and cannot as a member stay and see that route taken. It's why I don't use Reddit or other places where that exists.

I think he is mentioning where our likes are in relation to our trade rating... it makes us appear to have a positive trade rating in the thousands..

Speaking of that.. I've done like 6 (or so I don't remember how many) sales/trades/purchases.. I got positive feedback for all of them, but that positive of 6 (or so I don't remember) is now gone from by my trade rating.. now it's just zero.

Will that come back when the likes do?

So that 0/0/0 thing that used to be under my avatar never worked? I never completed a trade so I didn't know it wasn't connected. Then is the negative thing on posts just like a placeholder option from the software package that will not be implemented when things sort out?

It worked. It told you how many positive (or negative) trades/sales/purchases a person had..

Mine are gone now..

Then I'm just totally confused. As long as we get likes back (or whatever it will be called positive, pat on back, good one) I'm good. I just personally do not want to see a not like down vote, (down thumb whatever) added.

Every time there's a major change in a forum layout, especially one as big as this, there are always lots of bumps and bounces until it settles back down. I'm sure it will all be fine with time.
