I guess another question would be how long would an T atty last before needing to clean? This would tell me how many I need to order.

Ken

They work just fine on my regular ego 650's

Only had mine tankOmiser for 5 days now. I cleaned it when i first got it to get that factory nastyness out of it but have not had to clean it again so far. I do make my own juice though, So everything i use is high quality and pure. Aside for a few dry hits mines been great so far. Might want to reconsider reading this thread at least maybe the last 1/3 of it to get the latest info and tips and tricks on the tanks

Ok, so I would have thrown my tw atties out but my wife keeps using them and just bumps the flavor up in her juices to compensate. I had killed one before I gave up on them. Today, I watched Sense's video where he dissected a tank atty for us. Thanks for that vid Sense. Then I went into the kitchen and grabbed my weapons of mass destruction (needlenose pliers) and the dead atty. I pulled out the wick plate, rolled up some ptb, and pulled it through. Using scissors, I cut the ptb below the plate lengthwise and fluffed it out a bit. Cut the ptb even with the standpipe on the top side, and shoved the wick plate back into place. It works now as well as it ever did and the burnt taste is gone. Also no plastic taste.
.

You may be on to something. How much of the PTB did you use? How much did you let hang below the top plate before you cut it into strips? Any flooding of the coil?

By the way, I recently ordered a Riva 510 with ego-t atty (ordered on Wednesday from LF and just came today, 3 days is pretty impressive seeing as how it came from San Diego and was reportedly sent out 2/3, so big ups to LF!!) and it is awesome! Loaded up the tank with some peppermint PG/VG from JuicyVapor and it vapes like a champ! SO much better than my Magma!! I didn't have to do any tinkering at all out of the box, just blew out some of the primer and wiped up the inside of the atty, popped in the tank, and I was good to go.

So I got my tank carts and atty from house of vapor. Fist off, how do you know the difference between version 1 tank atty vs. version 2 tank atty? Anyway, this thing is the Pinnacle of the vaping experience as far as I am concerned. I have been vaping for exactly one month and would read countless forms everyday. After using the tank system, there isn't much more for me to accomplish besides jumping into DIY juices. Can't wait for that.

Anyway, my initial impressions are: the 1st tank will go by super fast as the atty literlly EATS the juice. It appears, based on the videos showing the inner design that it takes a bit of juice to keep it wet regarding the initial flow. After that, everything goes very smoothly. The taste is very pronounced and the throat hit is strong, and vapor clouds massive :vapor: . I started with a 510 and before a week was up of using that I had an ego. I never switched from the standard atty and cart setup. I just did the blue foam mod and it worked well. I personally won't get any mod or anything like that. With a 1k mah battery there really isnt a need in my opinion.

I truly believe I have reached the Pinnacle of the PV experience. Other than releasing a higher capacity cart like 2.5ml or something I really don't see how this can be made any better. It does exactly what it is advertised to do.

Can someone post a link for Sense's video? I can seem to find it.
Thanks.

Here is Sense's VID and Coz's on cleaning. Good stuff guys thanks.

Just got mine today and after a whole whopping one hour of use I have to say it's pretty good. Looks like it may not be too hard to live with. We'll see how it goes as far as any leaking or other problems.

One thing I do notice is that it seems to have less throat hit than the 2.0ohm LR cartos I'm using (on the same Ego batteries). Anyone know what ohm these attys are? Can't remember if I read it in this thread or not.

Pav, the ones I have range from 2.1 to 2.3Ω. I've seen some testing at 2.6 on the first ones from Ovale though. And 'ournature' says that LRs are on their way.... few pages back....

This is the ptb pulled through the plate and fluffed. I cut even with the end of the stack and put the plate back in. Handy new trick I learned is to stick the plate on the end of the cartridge and put the cartridge back in the atomizer. Makes it a lot easier to get it in there straight. Pic is the best I could manage, sorry it doesn't show up better.

My Ego-T Tank is in the postal system as we speak. I'm hoping I get the Ver 2. How do I know which I have?

After reading the posts, I'm wondering if V3 might be worth the wait.

Anyone had good results doing the slight push on the primary wicking to get it in contact with the coil wick?

UPDATE!

i'm fine with 2.2 tank atomizers but...
people liking hotter and a more aggressive vape will be happy to know that a 1.8 ohm LR tank atty version is coming out soon!
i'll grab one to check no doubt :)

there's a short video HERE

that's the Tornado-t branded but an Ovale and Joyetech should be released as well.

Now we'll all have to buy heavier batteries. It just gets better and better!

With V2 the spike in the center of the atty is wider but you won't have anything to compare it to :) If you got it from cignot or heaven gifts - it will be a V2 I know. Not sure of other vendors. Not sure what the V3 will bring, but the V2's work fine. See my cleaning suggestion on the 'weak flavor' thread. Only new stuff I'd welcome is if it were made in the cylinder style and I'd try the LR's but for flavor, I came off LRs and went back to the regular 2.1-2.2Ω attys on the mega eGo/cylinder/type B attys and carts with filler.
