New eGo

So I already upgraded my Blu PV to an eGo PV kit, came with two batteries (650mAh), 2 attys, 5 carts... I also got a pack of 5 cartos (dual coil, whatever that means) a drip tip and a lanyard. This eGo is the one that has the system lock (press the button 5 times). Anyhow, being new to all this and obviously a big upgrade from the Blu, any suggestions for this 1st time user? I currently have the first battery on the charger.

I'm going to attempt the condom method to fill the first two cartos, but I'm pretty impatient and won't want to wait until tomorrow to vape from my cartos so for tonight, after my battery is charged, I'm going to try to drip. Any suggestions? It looks like the carts my be pre-filled, is that correct? The wrappers on the carts say M*HIG on them, is that menthol high nic? Thanks for the help from this ignorant and learning vaper.

Have fun with the ego it's a good pv. Use the condom method and then drip a few drops on top let it sit for ten min and you should be good to go. The carts should be menthol In 18mg. But if you have a drip tip dont use the carts and drip one or two drops directly onto the atomizer put the drip tip on the atomizer and give it a few puffs I'm also kinda new to this and am learning really fast and you will too. How to fill a Carto

First, Take the silicone condom off the end of the carto with the white top. Leave the condom on the threaded end. Then take off the white top of the carto. If you have a syringe,(18ga.) load it with 1ml of liquid, 1.5 for DCs’, and slide the needle down the side of the carto and fill from the bottom . A few more drops from the bottle until the top of the filling starts to look “slushy”. If you don’t have a syringe, just slowly drop drop drop about 20-40 drops. (drop sizes vary, 1.0 ml is the target) Let the drops go down the side of the carto, constantly turning it, not into the hole in the middle. Every 10 drops or so it may help the flick the carto like you would a thermometer to force the liquid to the bottom of the carto. Continue until the top of the filling is “slushy” and the juice stops absorbing into the filler. If you have a drip tip, throw away the white end cap thingy and use the drip tip, otherwise pop the white thingy back in place to vape and then get online and order some pretty drip tips.
I know it may seem complicated, but it really is not

One more thing. Don't vape too long without topping off the carto or you will burn it. You'll get a feel for when you need to top off, (too warm, dry or reduced flavor) but until you do, do it often. If the filler is white, top off. If it takes more than 10 drops to get that slushy look on the filler, you may have waited too long.

It seems the cartos you have are already prefilled. No need for the comdom method unless you also have empty cartos or until after you vape the prefilled ones you have.

High can mean different things. It appears the norm nowadys for HIGH is between 18-24mg. Just pop one on and vape away

It sounds like your cartos are prefilled, so just stick it on and toke when your battery is charged. A lot of people like the condom method for filling, but I find it wasteful, as there is always some juice that gets away. I say waste not, want not, so I drip juice into my carto from the top.
Anyway, here are both methods, and you can choose which you prefer...

You are correct, it's the carts that I am thinking are pre-filled, the cartos were separate and are empty. I may use them (carts) with one atty and use the other to drip. Just a thought. Thank you all for the suggestions and thoughts so far!!!!

Also, you don't need to wait overnight. You can just fill it up, wait 15 minutes for the juice to soak into the polyfill (looks like cotton), and then vape away! As KeysBum said, just be sure to top it off every once in a while, before you get the nasty hit...you'll know what I mean when it happens.

In that case, you have everything you need to do whatever you want. Yeah, you can fill the DC cartos, and while you are waiting the 15 minutes for them to soak through, you can drip with your atty. Here's a quick vid on that. If you don't have a drip tip, then just take one of the cartridges that came with your eGo, remove the poly fill from it, and use that instead. That way, you aren't sticking your lips on hot metal.

The eGo is ready to go when you get it. I was about a few sec. after opening the box & put the other battery on the charger. Blow out the atty & add a few drops - no need to wait.

So on my first carto I dripped the juice into the fiber from the mouthpiece end.... It never really got slushy or pooled at the top, but it started dripping out the thread end... And I was being careful to not drip it in the air tube... Thoughts?

Also, I am going to try the condom method but the condoms that come on each side of these cartos are the same length and both have plugs on the insides of them... How can the method work when the condoms are so short and are designed with plugs on each of them?

EDIT: I have cartos that say DCHV 1.5 on them.

Sounds like it full Blow it out a little and wipe it off. Should be fine.

The nipples in the condoms are usually seperate pieces that slide out.
As for them being shorter then the tube. Dont worry the liquid will push it up inside of it without a problem.
