New eVic user. Looking for other mods as a backup. Any of them also do RVV and RVW?

I've had an evic for about a month, and I've only now begun to delve into the RVV and RVW features. For me, I think this is a hugely overlooked feature. For the first 3 weeks of use, I've been mostly using 4 second draws, and stopping because I was getting a burnt taste past 4 seconds on any power output past 7w. I've created variable wattage profiles for 3 types of juice now, with high power at the top, pulsing at lower wattage over time. I'm now doing 7+ second draws and getting a lot of vapor production, and even more satisfying hits, while not experiencing a single burnt tasting hit. The profiles are different for my protanks and my carto tanks, and my flavors, but for me, after the initial tinkering of setting the profiles, this is a HUGE convenience.

I am curious and would like to try this feature on other models - do any of the zMaxes, Provaris or iTaste VV mods have this feature? I am really looking into those 3 brands as a secondary device or a partner to my eVic, as I'm getting worried about it's durability due to the reviews and criticism.

Thanks!

The only other mod I know of that has these features is the eMode, a newer, less feature rich Joyetech mod. I am waiting on the next generation of eVic, myself.

As for a backup for your eVic, I went with the Sigelei Legend (shake weight mod) because it adjusts in .1w vs. the standard .5w most mods do. For me this was important, but may not be for you. It is a good mod, and really solid, but very rudimentary functionally when compared with the advanced features of the eVic.

My eVic has held up solidly for 7 months of abuse, it isn't as fragile as it feels (although I would not throw it at a wall!).

As always ... YMMV!

I don't know of any other mods that allow you to create RVV and RVW profiles like the eVic. I've had my eVic for 6 months now, and dropped it numerous times and it still holds up. It always tend to slip out of my pocket when I'm getting out of the car, or sitting on the toilet, so it's taken quite a few hard falls. The only things that hasn't survived so far are two pro tanks (v1), where the glass cracked near the bottom collar.

I'm sure the eVic is more fragile than many other mods, but it's not THAT fragile. The dealer who sold it to me told me it was the iPhone of mods, which I think is a fair comparison. That being said, I never broke my iPhone either, and it's taken the same amount of beating as my eVic :)

I wholeheartedly agree that it's like the iPhone of VV mods. The voltages might be off a little, and it doesn't give you enough rope to hang yourself with, but the interface is SO easy to understand.

The RVV and RVW modes do add a little bit of Android-ey customization ability, though. I really can't believe not more people are talking about this beyond being a gimmick. I'm really hoping the use of this feature will extend the life of my coil heads. Up to now it's really added to my experiences with different juices. A lot of people keep trying to convince me that more clouds = more flavor nuance, but right now I'm experiencing all of the flavors listed in a juice's selling points, by customizing how I zap it. Instead of the inhale/exhale differences that some juice vendors try to explain to me, I'm finding the different flavors are coming through at different wattages. I am also finding that with a pulsing scheme, I can extend my hits to almost double what I was getting used to because I had to stop due to burning flavors.

I'm kind of really hoping to find a backup/second that has a similar function, but if it doesn't happen, I have already been considering picking up a second head unit, if I can find one cheap.
