For me the eVic is the winner by far when compared to the Provari for the following reasons:
1. I don't need a separate charger! This is such a big selling point for me. This is the number 1 reasons that it outclasses the Provari by far!
2. I can use it while charging (passthhrough) with the 1.3 firmware.
3. I can charge it in my car with the standard mini-USD cable and there is no need to buy a separate car charger like in the case of the Provari.
Because of these points, the eVic, IMHO, leaves the Provari in the dust. The build quality is not the same, but who cares? For half the price you get a decent eVic kit (battery included). If it breaks I'll buy another one. I am using a Kanger Pro tank and works perfectly with my eVic, I am vaping at 4.7V and it lasts all day long (and I am a chain vaper). I owned a year ago a Provari and a Provari Mini and because I forgot many times to charge the batteries I got back to analogs. Now with eVic I hope to stick to vaping. With the Provari I always need to have spare batteries handy. Hope this helps!
