If you want your pictures to look better, avoid using the flash. The flash washes out colors terribly. It's better to make the room as bright as you can; turning on lights, opening window blinds, using a lamp...

And try to make the background and accessories in your picture either compliment the subject, or at least not distract from it. The top of your laptop with its dust and grime is probably not going to be as visually appealing as a bathroom or kitchen counter, porch rail, or even just down on the carpet. Or a book, or a tool box, or next to a hammer, or next to War Machine or a Transformer...

Sometimes it helps to use macro mode (close-up mode) to put a tight focus on the subject and blur out the background.

Or if nothing else, just take a picture of it in your hand.

Take 20 pictures and pick the best.

Thanks for the tips rojo. My complaint is not with composition, i haven't gotten that far yet, but with the resolution of the uploading system the forum uses.
If you can teach me how to upload pics at the resolution of yours i will experiment with composition.
I didn't bother trying to give the photos a nice background as i was trying uploading via tapatalk and curious to find out if i would fare any better than straight from the computer.
I previously tried using photobucket and flickr to store pics and drag them here but unsuccessfully, using the

You are doing it wrong then. :)

I use Flickr and photobucket for hotlinking with the IMG tags all the time, here's one from my Flickr:

When doing it here, click on "from ULR" and make sure the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" isn't marked.

I keep getting "invalid file" error. I can' find the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" for the life of me.
This is what i'm trying to post:

Your link is broken.

Try using imgur. Very simple and tags the links for you:

imgur: the simple image sharer

Upload your image.

Copy and paste the "BBCode (message boards & forums)" link:

When on Flickr, right-click your photo , then click "copy image address", back on ECF, click the "insert image" icon above the reply space, a box will pop up, there you can choose between inserting an image from your computer, or from an url, when you click url, you'll see the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" :) . Uncheck and paste your url.

I thank you all guys for the good advice and for trying to help me, Nach, Blix, rojo.
I was finally able to upload one pic from IMGUR on one of my previous posts. What a feat.
I will try to replace all my other sucky pics at least with better resolution.
I can't thank you enough for not giving up on me as i was at the end of my rope.
Peace and brotherhood.

@Blix:
I'll try again Flickr once i find the elusive "Retrieve remote file and reference locally", as i already have a bunch of pics already loaded in there.

Hey David. The locking ring is still heating up on me. Ive rebuilt both of my Kayfuns and i even tried my cousins AGA Genny. I am running a AW 18490 nipple top. I am using all 4 of the washers and 2 O rings. What am i doing wrong?

Sounds like the setup is right. Is there a battery short? I'm real hesistant to say anything is wrong with the device as they are so simple, there really is nothing that can go wrong, simple metal to metal touching to complete a circuit so nothing to really go wrong. Have you tried it with just a simple screw on 510 atomizer? You can then verify that the unit is working good (assuming nothings shorting on the battery).

Hmm im gonna try a 510 Atomizer and ill get back to you, also it doesnt happen every time but i know it does happen cause my ring finger tells me it gets hot LOL

Maybe nothings wrong, I mean are we talking getting burnt or just warm? With real LR coils, it could be getting warm as theirs a lot of current going through there (it passes through the locking ring to the button) which would be normal.

LOL youre probably right. Its just when you put the short theory in my head, and when i checked my Kayfun, there was a short. But now i know for a fact there is no short. It gets hot enough to where it only feels uncomfy to the tip of my finger when its barely resting on the ring. This is my first mod that isnt from China, so im probably just not used to the power!
