3.2 ohms on a 3/2 wrap with 32 AWG kanthal? huh!? lol

what's it wrapped around a salami? :)

It is a 3/4 wrap, and yes, I do as fat a wick as I can. Barely fits in wick hole, but wicks like a vampire, I never, I mean never, get a dry hit. :)

Good question! I assumed the shiney, but I am only guessing. I have a black one and a purple one, don't yet have a shiney one.
Oh man, can you imagine the Mini Did on the eGo DRAGON too???
I have 2 colored and 2 stainless and i wish they where all stainless. It has much nicer grip and looks in my opinion. I dont know ego dragon, but it sounds pretty scary.

I really like the polished SS DID on my silver Twist, the bottom of the twist is polished and i use a chrome adapt Ego to tank. It looks very high end.
U are right the ss twist is polished and they adapther is chrome, so it needs to be the polished DID for the best looks. Thanks.. ow and i wouldnt mind if u post a picture from it.

I wish I had a vice grip :(
You can use a Dremel on Slow mode, if you have one of those. Just cut your wire a longer length (double the length), fold it over, slip the loop in onto the dremel and tighten it down, hold the other end in your hand and buzz it for a second. It only takes a second or two to achieve the perfect twist.

Those little chrome Threaded rings for the Ego threads are nice too, they can act as an air control and liquid control too, when you snug them up to the bottom of the DID, then back it off just a smidgen :) I use this set up on mine works good and hides the threads, these will be great for the Mini DID as well which looks super on the Ego Twist

Hey mwa, I went with the Ego 18650 mod. That mod is gonna look sweet on the DID with a DCT Ego cone! Thanks for posting that a few back man!

I like this thread: Twisted Wire Coils
(Warning: cussing alert for sensitive ears)

Awesome, Thx! I have a Shorty just screaming to be tinkered with. I think I'm going to try the 3/4 with 34KA1 (same as 0.16) like Griz discussed in that thread. Reading through it, there a set of pics of a DID all twisted up and blasting like a volcano. The discussion about juice pooling in the twists makes sense and I'd bet there are less hot spots because the surface area where the coil touches the wick is decreased by the ridges created by the twists.

Even if it doesn't work, it'll be fun making a jig and playing with power tools

I have a 6 part tutorial in the works on making a perfect wick and coil. Only issue is my internet connection is very slow so I will be uploading one or two parts per day till all 6 or 7 parts of the tutorial are posted on YT. The last two parts are long though and I wish I had someone here to work the camera but I think everyone will learn something even when you cant see what I am doing at all times. i apologize for that in advance. Will post links once they are loaded up.
