When my DID comes in, I plan on putting it on my SS Vtube by Apollo, which is the Stainless Steel version of the LavaTube, but with an ego like connection. I think it will be the perfect match, as the finish is pretty much exact!! Can't wait for mine to get here!!! Hoping this week!!! Ordered it on the 6th and should be shipped tomorrow, and how long it takes to get thru customs, will determine when it get to me in Upstate NY. Now I see that a mini version is coming out, Maybe I will pick one of those up too, just need to recover from my vape spending I did in the past 2 weeks, WAY TOO MUCH!!!! But it is an addiction!!!! A good one at that!!!
I think thats the same thing I got. Its the SS Lambo from COV. Bet it looks good. Should push the DID very well also. Cant wait till it all gets here. Have to wait on COV cause I ordered the Iatty2 as well. They ship on the 15th. The lambo was cheap and if it was not for the Iatty I would have got the ss Provari. Will be saving for it in the meantime.

Can't wait it is going to look so good on my polished ss provari. Mine should ship on Monday.
I asked for pics of that very set up. Also posted in the Provape section asking how durable that Provari's finish was. Would love to see pics of it with a DID on top and also if you wear a ring will it scratch the SS Provari? My ring did a number on the Zenesis.

I have the Chrome ProVari also, but I am waiting for the Z-atty-P to be in stock and that will be going on that!!! I also just ordered the Penelope, and Ody. I have my $ saved on my CC for the GGTS that will be in stock some time this month. I seen the Lambo you ordered, and that is the same exact mod I have from Apollo, but in SS. The one from COV is chrome plated, and another member said that the plating is flaking off. Don't believe everything you hear though, I think you got an awesome device, and you will like it!!! If you are interested in the SS one, at Apollo they have them in a kit with batteries and case, atty, and charger for $100, and 30% off, so for $70 you get a pretty nice package. Just a thought!!

Finally got some time to mess with things and got both the coils working. Took a total of 11 coils before I got it right. Not too tight or not too loose :) . Got both of them smoking like a chimney and got one more on the way. I am planing to use these and my HH357 and no more cartos ever. Here they are(from an iphone camera under crappy lights) :

I am the least mechanical/craft oriented guy on the planet and have no experience with genesis atties and I got these working in a couple of hours of tinkering. Those with experience making coils and wicks should find this super easy. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks Jim.

when i get my provari back with the upgrade ,,mine will look like the one on the left but without the ext cap ,,tuesday maybe ??

I already have 2 AW IMR 18650's and a Pila charger from Provape. Really just wanted something that matched to get me by till I can get another Provari. Hard choice to make on the Lambo, but if it last's for 6 months I'll be happy.

So what about the SS Provari then? Does it scratch easily?

Make sure the wick is as close to the brass connection as it can be without touching - also that you have a firm solid connection with that wire to the nut. Takes awhile sometimes but you will get it, this is an excellent genisis atty. You will be very happy.

I bought a lot of drip tips from Clouds of vapor and litecigusa. So they came from one of these stores. litecig has some cheap good ones.

One thing I did to stop that is wrap the coil once between the brass nuts on the post. And when you do that, make sure you put just the right pressure on the wire. Once that's done, wet burn the coil in short bursts to start with and slowly increasing the time for a while until the wire gets oxidized and then the hot spot won't happen anymore. Keep dripping the juice on the coil while you are wet burning.

Not to quote myself, but it helps greatly to click the button that says English and I can now read "pre-order".

Jim - just a suggestion for the website. In case of fumble-fingered people (me, for example ), maybe offer a rebuild/repair kit. The allen screws, o-rings, knurled nuts & center post as one item in a 'kit'. I know sooner or later, I'll drop something & lose it :tumble:.
Eagerly awaiting my 2nd DID.

i concur,,i almost threw out one of the screws in the paper towel i set the DID on...whewwwwwwww
