8 wraps holy cow... Why? Plus his bottom wire is wrapped around the negative and fill screw. This is still a very odd setup so I'm still not convinced he's serious. Looks like another joke meant to mislead people to me.

Hes attempting to make fools of everyone, just ignore him - hes an idiot - there are waaaaaaay too many genisis setup videos out there to watch. Hes on youtube himself so he already knows that. IMO Clint here has the best idea of that guy

I haven't gotten mine yet, but for me I just ordered them b/c I can go longer before I feel I need to clean it. The SS will not tarnish. It's just a mind thing for me. Kind of cosmetic, but the fill screw and the ground screw will be easier to take off as well. I wont need the hex key. I also think the new spacer will help to tighten the center post to the body. Just IMO!
hi guys
I need some help since Jim upgraded the screws, nuts,.... to stainless steel. should I order them, I mean does it worth the upgrade. does anyone notice any difference in vaping experience?

Good eye! I'll remind him to clip it off (he's probably hanging on to it, in case another reWrap is in order?)
The eight wraps, is probably because it's easier to remove a coil than it is to add a coil? (that's *my* guess!)

i get the same impression. But I can't ignore him (wife is posting for him, supposedly), because he's the only other DIDer on another forum that I visit, and he's giving wrong impressions to any others who might be interested in improving their vaping experiences with a DiD. I am compelled to his "help me" thread! I'm the one who hyped up the DID in that forum, in the first place, and now I am pulling my hair out because this one person is.... omit sentence here....

Help! I'm trying to be oh so informative, for others who may be following the thread either now, or in the future. I also want this person to "get it".

Just build me a barrel, I feel like a pickle.

Here's my reply for those that like SS which is mostly made of iron.
Iron information page. All about iron and the role it plays in your diet.

Im not trying to pick on people. But they get something in there head. Copper pipes our whole life. We need copper in our body. People take vitamins because we have taken all natural minerals and metals out of our foods. The did brass parts can't even give me the copper We need. But can reduce the resistance we like. Ss is fine but not needed like I read. It's getting crazy now vegans of the vape world. That's their choice. But to exaggerate the situation. That's my two cents.

Still waiting for mine to come. On the mini I actually miss the hex key. My fingers are so big I have to go super slow or else I end up losening the center nuts and spacer trying to remove the fill nut. So I use a small screwdriver I scavenged from an eye glasses repair kit.

For the standard I use 4 brass nuts like RW has in his video and it made a big difference from the orig setup.

I hear you, but my decision to go SS had nothing to do with health reasons. For me it's just easier to keep up with and I like the screws and new spacer nut. I haven't received them yet, but I can't wait!!! I'm super excited!

I agree we need to get away for needing tools to rebuild.

I received my DID Wednesday in only 5 days super-fast shipping from Greece to USA. Haven’t had time to give my opinions until now, this is my very first genesis atomizer. I have used mesh before in other RBA’s just not genesis style. It only took 2 tries to get it perfect and start blowing clouds. I started with some NLV juice with 400 mesh and it was good, then tried Gorilla juice with 325 mesh and had some wicking issues but still tasted good. I just received an order of some pluid yesterday. I took the DID all the way apart and cleaned it, made a new 400 mesh wick and wrapped me a 1.0 ohm coil. Wow this is the perfect combo for me, I have never tasted anything this good. An atomizer forever is 100% accurate, I will have a DID forever, now just have to decide which new style DID to get next. Thanks so much Jim for designing and making this great atomizer! :toast:
I hope mine comes that fast!!!
