OH
WOW! When does he find time to lick so many stamps?! And that much paper of 18 eurocents?!!!

An example in packaging efficiency:

Excellent machining, beautiful finish! I love it. Photo doesn't do it justice. I will wash it water and soap as there is a faint smell of oils. And for those who have flavor problems - the SS mesh also benefits, in my experience, from a quick boil.

Thanks, Jim! I like it so far. I can't wait to put it together.

Hey Uma!
I don't quench at all.
Not even with PG/VG or ejuice.

I do sometimes heat up the wire, but this makes it harder for me to see, because now it's a dark wire against a dark mesh. LOL
It does work better for me when I heat the wire, less break in time, just harder to see.

I heat it up 3 or 4 minutes over the stove flame. (blue flame)
Rolled it around the Allen Wrench, but didn't get it tight enough to fit, so I just rolled it more in my fingers til it fit.
Cut the tank end on an angle, wrapped the wire around it.

Inserted, fastened the ends and I was good to go.
A few minor adjustments on the wire and it's fine.

I did take the two top brass nuts off completely and just wrapped that end of the wire around the brass post.
I over-done-Did-it and you totally simplified it. Is that too sweet or what. !?!
I'm going to try your way next time for sure. I was nervous this time (and still made a mistake by cutting the top off too low),
I'm also no longer nervous about loosing the tiny brass nuts since reading your success without them. I like the texture on those little dudes, and hope to never lose them, but if I do at least it won't be the end of the world. :)

Has anyone tried any of the various magnification tools available today?
Here's one on a gooseneck list
and here's a Jewelers Visor list

I need a s t r o n g one. Anybody have any favorites to share?

I have MS(multiple sclerosis) and it has caused my vision to prematurely get worse but,I still have no issues in "daily life" and I just use non prescription reading glasses if I need a little extra "help".You can buy them pretty cheaply just about anywhere with more expensive ones in bookstores.I do read a lot but,the glasses are mainly for intricate things as my kindle and computer both allow me to adjust the font's size.:2c:

Oh believe me, I have a pair (the strongest on the rack 3.5?) and I still not see intricate detail and I still squint.
I used a huge hand held magnifyer this time, and it was still difficult to see.
Maybe if I try both the reading glasses and the magnifyer....
okay, spellchecker, fine! I'll spell it your way. Magnifier. Happy now?

Has anyone in the 600-700 order number range not received the DID yet? Mine was 670 (order 544 was DID combined with short tank 670) but it's still a no-show :( Still saying "processed through sort facility - ISC New York" been like that since the 24th of June. Getting a bit worried at this point... Thanks all

My order was 541 and I got it a week ago now. Actually I got it on the 31st I think, and it was in NY on the 24th. I think you may have a problem. I would start calling NY.....and good luck, that Po is complete HELL.

All orders have been shipped
registered numbers will be given tomorrow!

Just curious. How do you send the registered numbers? I'm order #934, so I don't know if my order was included in your post. If it was, I don't know where to find this number. Your website says my order is "completed" so I don't know if that means shipped, or what.

Jim sends the registered number via email. You will receive an email updating your status to completed then another updating to shipped this one has the number. Not that it helps much Greece mail is efficient, US mail not so much. My first order got to new York the next day.....sat there for several days then popped up in my mailbox. If you do not see an email updating status and you have checked your spam may wanna shoot Jim an email. My order # was 835 ordered 6/24 and shipped 6/28. Friday is his normal cut off for orders for the following week shipping. I have to say that I am amazed at how well Jim is keeping up with orders (and designing new models). These are really a quality piece of work.
I just went to the DID website ....if you log into your account and go to your orders click on the latest and scroll down ....the registered number is listed here as well.

Mine was 782 and I'm vaping it now. Is niiiiiice! :)

That's awesome! Is there enough space on the top cap to drill another wick hole? Thinking of getting an extra to experiment with using the filler hole screw as another terminal and dual coiling.

I have two that look similar to the second one down on the gooseneck list.
I'm sorry, I can't remember the name of either.

I got both in an arts/crafts store.
One in A C Moore and the other in JoAnn's Fabrics.
The one I got a JoAnn's has two glasses and a light, but I haven't put batteries in it yet. LOL

Even with my glasses on, I still need the glass and good light.

Ordered on 6/27. Website says "complete". Only email I've seen is the one with an invoice that came right after I ordered.
