I have two that look similar to the second one down on the gooseneck list.
I'm sorry, I can't remember the name of either.

I got both in an arts/crafts store.
One in A C Moore and the other in JoAnn's Fabrics.
The one I got a JoAnn's has two glasses and a light, but I haven't put batteries in it yet. LOL

Even with my glasses on, I still need the glass and good light.
Thanks!! Added it to my Amazon wish list. It says it has a little circle with 6x zoom for finer detail. That just might do the trick!

Jim, what to use to isolate the wick from the hole in the atomizer to prevent it from shorting (like in a Zenisis)?
Are you going to sell this on your site?

Why can't you just use a food grade sealant and line the edge of the hole with it? My work sells some that is resistant against acidic juices and heat up to 1200 degrees. It's what I was thinking about doing.

How does it work on it. What volts are you using?
Beautifully.
3.7 (the volt depends upon the wrap. The less wraps you have, the lower the resistance is. The more wraps, the higher the resistance. I recommend starting at 3.0 and working your way up to pure happiness and then stop before you burn your juice. More is not always better.)

@ K-man. Here's a wick / coil trick trick I picked up on ob's Coil & wick tips & tricks thread "peter k" method and it works great with just the bottom nut and one securing nut. I did cut the mesh @ 15mm +/- wide & 30+mm tall to fill the DID's hole a bit more. What clicked with me about this method was what Peter K said. "It wicks, and watts are not spent for mesh heating, but for
e-liquid."
This is a 4/4 coil and is great @ 3.6 /3.8 V, and will flood at horizontal if your not careful. :)

If I would have know that somebody so close to me was getting a DID this week it would have been tempting to stalk your mailman instead of waiting in mine
I met the carrier at the box. ;)

As far as everyone's concern with isolating the wick from the hole, what I did was the cigarette paper trick, but extended it into the hole. The paper burns off under the coil, but some is left to insulate the hole/wick.

I hate beginner's luck when it doesn't happen to me. Kudos Kurtus! I think your wrap and resistance is the perfect place to be with a vmax.

EDIT: Please post pics of your DID on the SS vmax. Still waiting for mine to arrive.

spoke too soon lol, tank got dry and I didn't realize it but I popped the coil messing around with it. I did notice though that the 2 nuts that clamp the kanthal are more or less a hassle to deal with cause you end up snugging the wire and trying to get them tight. I took the advice of another member on here and just pulled them off wrapping the kanthal directly on the post instead. Made life alot easier and my coil is now at 2.5ohms and has no hot spots and is working better than my first coil was. It also got rid of another spot for the kanthal to short out on so it may be worth a try on your next rebuild, i bumped my wick and the second coil shorted on the nut causing an f1 on the vmax cause it made the wick seem shorter than it was of course. Anyways a few pictures of the combo and what my coil looks like without the nuts on it.

Hmmm, ok, now I'm worried. I have #640 too- is that possible? email stated it shipped 6/20 and was combined with another order but the tracking number still says its in Greece? This was a large order :(

Now,that would worry me too but,I'm sure there is a simple explanation for it.Sorry for our troubles and hopefully it arrives safe and sound and the same goes for all of them still en-route to their owners.
