Doc, that's pretty typical of all mods, no matter how incredible they are. Some try to flip them for more money, while others like to try out every new mod (and genny) that comes out on the market. In order to do that, they either trade for one they haven't yet tried, or they flip one in order to afford the next one. They are caught up in the "new to them" fever. When they tire of chasing the unicorns, the ones they really miss haunt them, and then they repurchase the one(s) they missed terribly. I'd bet my bottom dollar that The Poldiac, will be a rePurchase for most. :)

Oh crap, I think I just dated myself.
Well, not "dated" myself as in holding my own hand and getting to 3rd base kinda dating but more of ... (oh hell, never mind.)

:D

Kinda like if you've bought albums on vinyl or ever used rotary dial phones.

Whats with all the Poldiacs up on the classies? I wouldn't trade mine for any of the "unicorns". Just bc there is a list a mile long doesn't make it better.

Ty for making devices that are actually available Jim.

Sent from my Epic

I have to admit the thought crossed my mind... But then I came to my senses. You can have my Poldiac when you pry it from my cold, dead hand.

I thought I had worn down the top cap of my Mini DID. Suddenly the airhole just wasn't lining up with the wick anymore. This meant I had to loosen the top cap in order to get my perfect vape back, so I did just that. No biggie, but my heart was broke. When it needed refilling, I was ready to add some dental floss around the thread, in order to tighten the new position. Hang on! What in the world?? OMG!! Stupid dog hair in the threads! I hate shedding season! That stuff gets everywhere. It even messes up the alignment of airhole to wick lol. All is well again, back to good as new, no floss need apply. Dog groomers more than welcome though.

LOL!! A few drops of Oscar Myer, a drop of fuzzy navel, and I'll be darned if I can finger the exhale flavor, but it certainly is different, I'll say that much. :D

Fortunately, it never made it to the inside of the atty. Apparently, a little bit had landed on the napkin before I set my cap on it during the refill. The cap, being damp from condensation, naturally made for a nice hair grabber.

Not my finest moment. When I was stationed in Germany, the NCO club was doing a special on them. I must of had 10, 15 or 20 of them. I can't and I stress can't remember how many I did. Anyway the next morning I had to go see Top, First Sergeant for all you non military types. Apparently, I killed a bicycle. It must have ...... me off somehow. Haven't touched one since.

I've had firing issues in the past but since I learned "the secret", I have no more issues. Take the entire button assembly apart, o-rings, everything. Now when you put it back together, the key is to make sure you use the delrin button alignment piece, included in the bag of spare parts. Hold it firmly in place and screw on the brass ring that holds the delrin button housing in place. This assures correct alignment. Press the o-rings in and then add the contacts. For some reason if the button housing gets out of alignment, even by a fraction of a mm, you will have firing issues. Since using this procedure I have not had one misfire.
If you are unsure of how anything goes back into place, view Ricks excellent tutorial here. POLDIAC by mmvapors.com Mechanical Mod Tutorial - YouTube
dis-assembly and reassembly begins at the 17:20 mark of the video.

Just wondering if some people could be inserting the Delrin button housing wrong way round! AAF. This would still fire but very erratic, anyone got a picture to post I can't atm have pc problems. Edit: Just looked at video again and Rick described orientation at 22:11 mark.
