I wonder if we sent some specs to Phiniac, if they could make us a pyrex tank for the DiD?

Pyrex tubing is available at Mcmaster-Carr, as well as a few other glass wholesale websites, this is very simple to cut and use a torch to polish the edge and even anneal..just a thought if you want a pyrex/Borsillacate tank on the cheap, a foot of this tubing cost about $15 plus shipping if you want to try to do it yourself, Quartz is also a nice option and simple to purchase and cut.

I agree, 165 pages is a lot to read. Believe me, I understand a busy schedule. Yes, many on ECF are very helpful and patient.
All of which is why I suggested reading the thread. I try to respect others busy schedules as well, so I read the thread before asking questions, or answering questions that were previously asked, in case they were already answered. Trust me that there are answers to questions that you didn't even know you had in this thread.
I also didn't want to miss out on a genesis, so kept an eye on the quantity listed as on hand on the ordering website, to make sure that I didn't.
psssssst, there's only 42 pages if you change the "amount of posts per page to 40" up in your settings at the bottom of the page. :D (makes for a much faster read, with fewer clicks and lagtimes, plus it's not as overwhelming when there's only 2 or 3 new pages a day instead of 30 or 40).

I should be in here more often cuz this is an amazing product, built by an amazing guy, with amazing people in the thread. That said, I will make a point of reading this thread from the very beginning instead of just here and there.

I FINALLY had the time to sit and wrap a good coil after several failed attempts. It's only 4 wraps as I haven't perfected my skills at wrapping any more than that in the tiny space that is. I'm finding that my juice doesn't taste as good as it does in my other rebuildable. How long before I can expect it to get better? A tank or two? Or do you think I've screwed something up? It's reading 1.9 ohms and I'm vaping on my provari at 3.8 volts.
Hey K-man!! Good to see you here.
My first attempt worked, even though it shouldn't have. I made 4 coils, but the top coil slid off the wick and sat above the wick like a halo lol. I still fired er up and was pleasantly surprised to see it worked. I then removed the top coil and left it as a 3 coil wrap and it's been vaping great, especially the flavor. My LT is set at 3.7 and as the battery wears down, I just gradually switch the tube up to 3.9 then put it on the charger before it hits 4.0. (I love my Reo with a fresh 4.2 battery, and this setup lets me achieve similiar results).

Did you soak and flame your wick 3 or 4 x's with your ejuice before using? You should be getting great flavor.

Last night as I vaped Pink Spot's G-spot while playing monopoly with the family, the aroma filled everyone with contentment. The aroma, the flavor, the vapor, all combine to make one nice vape with the DID.

I will admit, my vapor isn't as exhuberant as on the ZS, but the flavor is better. Which tells me I need to fiddle with both or be happy with both for their different reasons. The next wick and coil I make might just change the whole scenario visa versa lol. I'm still learning the ropes, but am a very happy rope climber so far.

I especially love how I can remove the tank and use it on another pv without loosing a drop of juice.
I love how the cap stays on due to the grooves and twist.
I love the SS tank for the rugged outdoors and for carrying in my back jean pocket when on my SB. I don't worry when it drops on the table, and it never leaks when it's laying down on the job.

oops, got carried away with rambling, but my point is, your next wick and coil, or treatment thereof, or fiddling with the one on right now ,just might bring out the flavor you're missing on this first vape.

I got this in today!!!4.5ml "Shorty" Cartomizer Tank by SmokTech Thanks for the recommendation. It works perfectly right out the package on my DID. I didn't need to cut the tube or anything. Now I can not only see my juice, but use tank cracker juices as well. I love it. I think the DID is my favorite Genesis style atty, now! I need to be careful, saying this. I don't know for sure if my Zenesis just moved to second place, so I will just call it a tie.

Now, I've been an Engineer for a good few years now and I'm surprised and quietly contented to see that a word like FIDDLE has made it as a technical term in our VapeWorld culture. Fiddle, fiddling and fiddler are all now respectable, acceptable, descriptive, technical terms to describe what we DIDders do in our spare time......
(behind closed doors.... )

Nothing directly DID related........ just an idle observation........... :)

Edit: Context....
Q: What DID you do at the weekend?
A: I just fiddled with my DID.......

Although the Kir Fanis Clear Window is cheaper if your just going to waist the caps.

For an xtra $1.59 your tank won't sit in NY for 9 days and you get 4 colors to choose from.
Carolina vapes only has 3 colors and I really like how the black tank looks on my provari.

And yes they are the same size as the ss tanks we get with the DID.

Yeah. I like the black one too. It should be here in a few days. :)

I agree, but Kir Fanis's clear window will crack with juices that crack polycarbonate. I have his tanks also just in case something happens to the smoktech one.

Acknowledged, but not a particular concern for me. I'd use the aggressive juices in the SS tank and use the Kir Fanis tanks for the others. I plan on owning multiple DIDs in any event for easy flavour swaps. I also have 2 other Kir Fanis tanks (Tripolitis Tower and Trap tanks) and they are simply brilliant in every respect, so I want to buy more from this particular craftsman.
