Here's a photo of my ss RIPPLEdrip tip from COV on my DiD. The hole is larger than the average tip, which allows even more vapor through. I can now proclaim that my DID is fabulous in both flavor and vapor, even on a newbie wick and coil!!! :)
If you're not experiencing the vapor that this is capable of, I highly recommend purchasing a wide mouth drip tip.

Ok Ok, This gosh darn DID, that's right, I am cursing this DID for giving me a new addiction. Yes, My name is Rick and I am a coil addict. I have become a mad scientist!!!!!

I felt the same thing. On a plus side, the DID has eliminated my expensive tinkering habits in favor of trying every new tip/hint/permutation to wick & wrap. Now, when it doesn't work the way I want it to (unlike all those drawer filling failed purchases of whatever was new - and had to have 5 just incase it happened to work) I can start over for nothing more than a few pennys worth of wire and mesh. Who am I kidding, I've gone through it all a couple unnecessary times just because it's fun. And, having successfully configured it perfectly at least once before, I know what the end game should be so somehow find the inner peace and patience to be meticulous and take my time to do it right.

...Waiting on #2 and to arrive so I can tinker and vape at the same time :toast:

Cool looking drip tip. Out of curiosity, why the o-ring on the cap threads?

yea, i get "SingPost ERROR: Sorry, no parcels matched your tracking numbers. Please verify the entered tracking number is correct and try again later".

You might unfortunately be one that got caught in the problem Jim said he was experiencing with the new courier service. I'd say give it a few days.

Very cool Uma although it looks like it could generate a death ray :)

I love my wide-mouthed SuperT Tanbur tip with the DID.

Actually, this method came from Lorderos. ob started a tips & trick thread. Here it is. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...enesis-other-genesis-devices.html#post6437799

This is a great trick. I must've had a small spot somewhere in the back, because I used this as an opportunity to use a toothpick to even out my coils and voila. After a couple nudges, dry burns and then dunkings, the whole coil lights up immediately and the resistance stabilized to 2.5ohm. So, while it definitely cleaned up the gunk, seems to have also worked as a secondary oxidation process as a bonus.

Just wanted to add my thanks to Jim for this fantastic product and great service. Ordered on 3rd July, Shipped on the 10th, arrived today. It has been said before but you really do have to see the DID IRL to appreciate it - none of the photos I've seen do it justice. Made my first wick (using the Scott Bonner original method) at lunchtime and have been vaping on it ever since. Really good and seems to be getting better as the coil breaks in. But the flavour is already incredibly intense - I have had to cut my usual juice 50:50 with unflavoured nic to get it to a sensible level.
Thanks again Jim and I hope your current problems don't last too long. I will call in at your site and leave a review in a few days time when I've had a chance to put a few miles on this thing.

OH
My friends, I have some bad news. My luck has not good in passed days and I make some mistakes.
Big problem now with new courier service for delivery -TNT and my assistant who send the orders
is now very sick and does not be at work. All orders until today will go with TNT
I have now to make and send all orders myself a few days. NO TIME.
I will try not to close the website for new orders for 1 week so
for me to catch them up.
I am so sorry to you all but no possible way. Please be patience with me and I
will be good again in 1 week and open site again for new
orders. Other orders already placed need 1 more week to send. I can not do other way.

My assistant also make it very big mistake on website but my blame for no
see for myself. 6 euro delivery charge for regular delivery
must not be charged. I'm so so sorry but some people pay this already
and I must fix the site. For the people who pay the extra 6 euro
to me I cannot fix but I will thinking how to make give you back something for this.
I will do so because not fair for other people.
a coupon maybe?
Noone will loose a peny from me I promise!
I learn from mistake and try very very hard to not make again. So many things.

Jim, I think you've earned a lot of goodwill with everything you've done so far. Don't worry about a little setback!

bookmarking for after my chores are done. (I shouldn't be taking a break yet, but... here I are peeking).
Nice summary!!!
I haven't drilled out my cap, and probably won't, because I love love love the flavor the DID produces. The vapor is outstanding with a wide mouth drip tip, so I'll stick to that for now, but it's nice knowing there's an option if I need one.
