This does seem a bit odd.

I ordered on 7/15/2012, order #1380, and recieved notice today of it shipping.

Doesn't really make sense at all... Others after you have been shipped too, I see. Anything special about your order?

I ordered "The DID", 3 extra bolts and a clear tank.

I am guessing Jim got overwhelmed with orders or sick as I ordered mine 7/9/2012 order #1205. I have had no Email no online update and he hasn't responded to Email??

Regardless it will arrive.Jim had some bad luck with his employee that did the shipping being sick last week.Most orders are delivered in 9-12 days and with the issue he had last week I would put a few extra days on that estimate.Waiting is rough but,more than worth it when it arrives.I'm sure he will get back to you but,I'm sure he is terribly busy as the DID is starting to become extremely popular(righteously so).I think I read that he has added 2 more workers and was almost caught back up.Anyway congratulations on buying one.

Wow! Swung by Home Depot and picked up a 1/16 drill bit ($3 for 2, split tip, titanium from Milwaukee). Literally a 15 second mod to drill the breather hole and holy smoke stack Batman...

Which can be my earning of senting your orders in deferent way and no an easy way for all of us?

Hey Jim, please don't take it personally. You've created a GREAT product and people are just really excited to be part of all the fun. Everyone knows you are giving it your all, underr difficult circumstances, and we appreciate it greatly!!!

On the positive side, it has to make you smile knowing your "baby" has caused such a powerful reaction in the vaping community

That would be the "downside" of creating such an excellent product Jim.Everybody wants it and expects it immediately not caring that this is the only readily available genesis atomizer on the market and is perfection.Those of us that already have them and are happily using them understand the volume that you have had to produce and ship.Thanks Jim!

Yeah i think there might have been a few orders fall through the cracks. My order #1112 seemed to get "Lost" but i sent Jim an email and he has responded that it will ship and I will get tracking info tomorrow. Shoot him a message and good luck!

Jim, you wouldn't be the only great seller to be either driven crazy, underground, totally away or all of the above by impatient people. Please don't let this happen. I believe the impatient people who have nothing better to do than complain 'they want it yesterday' represent the minority of your customers. Don't let them spoil it for the rest of us, for I truly believe they don't understand or recognize when they see a good thing, and their mindless prodding and abuse of your time may result in unfortunate consequences.

It's your show. YOU set the rules and parameters in a way that will keep you happy and productive so that we may all benefit from that.

I want to say couple of words to Jim
I start vaping in 2009 and I did not find the perfect way to vape until 2012. I saw many many options lately for rebuildable atomizer, I was confused until I discover this thread and I started to reading it page by page until I get Convinced by your services and how you work hard.
You know I just ordered my DID before couple of days ago, and I feel happy before I get it, because I believe customer service is more important than product itself. and what makes me to by the DID are the members who are saying a really good things about you, and you who work really hard to make your customers satisfied, finally the DID which I bet has the best Quality in the market.

There's always going to be impatient people. Even if you get people the product they ordered in a day, there will be people complaining about why you didn't get it to them faster. There will also be people who will constantly pester you with questions instead of using google or the site search. Ignore them and don't bother replying. You are not going to make these people happy.

You are doing a great job and we are enjoying your great product. Take it easy :)

I agree, the people are just impatient in today's world of instant gratification. You can never make people happy when they order something today, and are upset they didn't receive yesterday.

Jim, *you* are fast! It is the NY p.o that is slower than molasses.
Maybe a note on your website stating "Shipping & Delivery within 3 weeks of purchase" would help quiet the impatient ones? (that way they'd be thrilled when it showed up in the avg 9 days and not pestering you when it takes NY a bit longer). They don't realize it's NY's fault, not yours. You are amazing! Please do not let the impatient ones hurt your heart.

P L E A S E Help... I am just not getting the flavor I want. I am using 70pg/30vg on Provari at 2.4ohms 3/4 wraps 32a Kanthal 50mmx30mm 400 mesh on a Shorty DID.

1. What watts should I be at. I go by "the safe vaping worksheet" tha I downloaded from ECF on some other forum.
2. Why when it says 2.4 ohm I vape a few times them get a harsh vape and realize now it is at 1.3 ohms. So then I have to fiddle with the wires. Then I am back to 2.4. I hate the constant fiddling. I am thinking about going back to mu Line V2.

I know I am probally a misfit with everyone on this forum that love the DID but I am not there yet.

I love my purple Reo Grand too much to put aside all day, it still goes with me whenever I go somewhere. I wonder if Jim is going to make a BF-DID someday? I'd be first in line!!

Burnt taste=short
No flavor =short
Poor vapor production = short.

Read through this forum and you will find every solve, build improvement, and knowledge on the "did", you'll ever want to know. We have all experienced our build learning curve, don't worry you'll get there. Also, put down your worksheet, and just let flavor, TH, and vapor dictate your vv setting.

Exactly what I was thinking!!! Especially since your watching the ohms change from 2.4ohm to 1.3ohm. You probably need to oxidize the wick more.
Harsh vape, =short

YES, I realize it is a short. But why does it work great for 5 -8 hits then burnd harsh 1.4 ohm.

And I have read the forum....

Remove the screw for air
drill 1/16 in top
wrap top wire between bottom screw and middle screw
use top screw for air control
use extra wider mesh
oxy 3 times
oxy 3 times with juice (don't quench)
and so on.....

How do I know who to listen to?

Ya know, Someone on the forum weeks ago said to the effect "Order your DID today because when this thing catches on, its going to get rocky to get one". Well looking on the facebook area wicks and rebuildables, and here, I think the day is arriving. I sense poor Jim, who has not seen daylight, is finally showing a bit of strain. I understand you pay the money, you want the toy, but prior to Jim, a very short time ago, I was on 10 different lists in the now defunct uk vapors, trying to get any kind of Genesis atty I could, to no avail. So what's the bottom line. I ordered my DID, paid the money, and then just sat back and waited for the magic package to arrive. I never checked tracking, wrote emails, counted days or anything else. Why, you might ask? Well I figured this guys operation is not Amazon, therefore if I start burying him in questions, it would take away from his build productivity. So, for selfish reasons I left him, and my impatience alone. Guess what, the magic package eventually arrived and I have been delighted ever since. Right now I have other orders active with Jim, and again I don't worry about when they will arrive, I just know they will. This guy has been very honest all along this journey. My opinion, nothing more.
