I'm dying to see hybrid flavors of both the DID and mini DID! Hell, I just sold my Katana to fund my mini, i'm in the process of selling my gtus to maybe get a 2nd one (or something nice for the girlfriend, tough choice :vapor:) and I'd happily sell my orion and maybe even one of my Zens sometime down the line to replace with DID hybrids! (That does not mean PM me about buying my orion or Zen btw! When I'm ready to sell them they'll go up on the classies.)

What is the typical wait time to get a DID in the U.S.?

9 to 15 days as the whole issue is with postal service and not Jim as he sends the DID out in a few days and it is stateside in customs for the majority of the time.Mine was shipped and arrived in NY in 3 days and got it on the 12th day in Tennessee. If you have ever had anything go through the NY postal system you should already be prepared for a wait from them.Keep in mind this is a rough estimate going from the majority of folks on here that have theirs already as I do so,it might be less or it might be longer.

FINALLY... I am enjoying my DID. After a little more than a week of random hot spots. I took a video's advice and removed all screws. The only screw I am using is the top one to adjust air flow. Works great. I know some of you are going to respond and say I need them but I really need allot of convincing to put them back.

AWESOME! whatever works for you. So, are you wrapping the wire on the brass post and then just fine tuning with a top brass nut only? I was wondering whether or not the wick would get more air flow without the brass nuts as long as there is enough contact on the post when wrapped?

Hi,

I'd like to share that I just received my did a few days back and it really looks amazing, the only downside is the brass center pin was crooked when it arrived probably because it traveled more than a month before it arrived at my post, but since its brass it can easily be straightened out. Also finally managed to set up a decent coil after 2 sleepless nights enduring tons of hot spots, shorts and burned juices lol! As I am new to genesis type atomizers and this is my first 1. I think the Jackfrost method worked best for me in terms of oxidizing the SS mesh.

Kudos and hats off to Jim the DID rocks! :)

Just also received the clear tanks from Kir Fanis, but would anyone point me out to a pyrex tank that may fit the DID? None of the juices i like would work for the clear tank from Kir Fanis :( please help me?

Hey guys,

I think I'm going blind or something and I'm certainly not going to bother Jim with it as I'm sure someone here will be able to tell me. When your order shipped how did you get your tracking number? I paid for the faster shipping but I can't locate the tracking number in the shipped email or on the web page. I'm sure it's somewhere and I'm just having a moment.

Thanks.

Interesting. I did check my "Order Information" on e-vape.gr and no such number exists on that page.

Just says: Shipping Method: RealTime Tracking Very Fast .. and it doesn't show up in the comments or anywhere on the order information page.

Perhaps it shows up later as I think I received the notification a few hours ago. No big deal either way as it doesn't change the waiting time or anything lol. Just thought I'd ask in case I was having a derp moment and didn't see it.

Not an issue. I'll kick back and wait!
