Just outside my comfort zone.
I also vape pure VG.

c623cc, It's getting there... I did all the tricks in the book... Oxidized 3 times, soaked and burnt liquid off three times and so on.

To be honest, it's not half bad... And getting better by the minute. The above image is from the first coil, I recoiled and it seems I got rid of the hotspot.. Vapor (and especially flavor) is picking up. I'm vaping pure VG and I THINK I used the 325 mesh... Everything seems to be getting there :)

Can someone tell me if there is any flavor carry-over when changing the juice? I have never used anything like this, so I wouldn't even know if that is a silly question.

I change to a different liquid about 2-3 times a day, I use a syringue to empty the DID tank and put this liquid in his bottle. Of course there's always a little bit of liquid left in the bottom of the DID tank, but you don't taste it after putting another liquid. I'm doing this for the past few months with my Genesis Maxi and now the DID, no problem at all. It's actually a very good device to try other juices. You might want to do a quick dry burn after changing liquid, to make sure it doesn't taste the old liquid, but I don't even do this, I taste the new flavor very quickly.

That is crazy fast. Looks like it is worth paying the few xtra $$ to skip Usps.
7/18 my 3rd DID was shipped via TNT. 7/19 TNT called me to apologize they could not get it out of customs fast enough to deliver it on 7/19 but it will be here today 7/20. Whoa !!! That is crazy fast. Thanks Jim, and TNT.

When I change flavors I empty the tank then flip it upside down and burn off all the old juice. Once the wick is looking fairly dry the I add the new juice prime and vape with no carry over. Even my banana nut bread doesn't carry over and that is a pretty potent flavor.

They work fantastically well.

A little different then the Katana and I had to do a few different things but I figured it out. I was watching my ohms jump all over the place when I put the lid down and realized the wicks needs to really be cut down to even with the nuts or the coil moves(doh).

Other then the too long wick only issue I had was rolling the first wick too tight. I didn't find it worked very well when it was lose in the wick hole. Find it much better when it's a tight fit. It still worked mind you it just wasn't ideal.

Fantastic product. Highly recommend.

Fed Ex just delivered my "Real Time Tracking Very Fast" that was shipped on the 18th. Same order TNT called me yesterday on apologizing for a customs delay. So it appears TNT partners with Fed Ex and two days shipping is better than outstanding. :) :) IMO

I had my package waiting for me when I arrived home today, via UPS. Also shipped on the 18th. Apparently TNT uses whoever it needs to deliver expediently.

No carry over for me when my DID is empty i just fill it up again often with a different liquid and there is no taste that carries over.

And another thing i do even when i have a full tank of one juice and i quickly want to test another juice is that i take off the top cap, drop a few drops of the juice i want to test on the wick and coil. After about 7 or 8 puffs i will have the taste of the juice in the tank again. Works great when you are with friends and want to test their juice ;-)

If there is some left in there I remove it with blunt tipped needle and syringe, then I fill syringe with water and put it in tank, turn upside down - water will run right out, even shake a bit. I do this twice and then re-fill with diff. juice.

I done DID get my short DID today! Thank you Jim and TNT.

Now for a redundant question.

When I cut my mesh for the short DID, what size should it be? Please!

40 x30 mm or 1.57 " x 1.18" for the DID, for the short DID - just trim the wick shorter after rolling. I would do a dry fit the first time before installing the tank. Put mesh through the hole, see how far down it goes before touching the bottom and then you will have a rough idea. Keep top of mesh around top nut

I am expecting my clear kir for the DID any day now. I have seen reference to certain juices that crack clear tanks. Generally, what type of juice does one have to worry about? Thanks for any help.

Usually citrus and cinnamon or like atomic fireball type juices crack/shatter/cloud the clear tubes. Hope that helps, if anyone can add to that list that knows more...if needed. I don't vape but sweet juices so others may know more.
