Usually citrus and cinnamon or like atomic fireball type juices crack/shatter/cloud the clear tubes. Hope that helps, if anyone can add to that list that knows more...if needed. I don't vape but sweet juices so others may know more.

Thanks for the info, I certainly don't want to ruin my new clear tank. I wonder if anyone is making Pyrex tanks, might have to look into this.

All over the place
I change to a different liquid about 2-3 times a day, I use a syringue to empty the DID tank and put this liquid in his bottle. Of course there's always a little bit of liquid left in the bottom of the DID tank, but you don't taste it after putting another liquid. I'm doing this for the past few months with my Genesis Maxi and now the DID, no problem at all. It's actually a very good device to try other juices. You might want to do a quick dry burn after changing liquid, to make sure it doesn't taste the old liquid, but I don't even do this, I taste the new flavor very quickly.

I never once imagined that some don't vape the tank til its gone?! That makes so much sense but I thought for some reason that once the juice is in the tanks it stays until its vaped. Is there any sediment or particles left in the bottom of the tank after it has been vaped awhile? I have heard that some other genesis attys turn some of the juice dark and not too tasty.

You can rinse with distilled water, and leave upside to drain in the drainer. Good reason to have a few extra's on hand. :)

quick ?

do you guys rinse/wash with dishwashing liquid/boil the whole thing/parts of DID before use or just take it straight from package to assembly?

Probably not necessary, but i gave all the metal parts a quick soak in 100 proof vodka followed by water rinse and wipe dry.

Sweep, if I may suggest - remove that screw from the fill hole - you will get better flavor and vapor.

Yup, did that. Huge improvement.

Am leasing a bit though, carrying it like this. Will try and see if a bit of mesh on the hole will stop leakage while allowing for the advantages of not having the bolt on.

Did is my first rebuildable and boy, sure took me a long time to get anything working... so far 3 wicks, countless wires... and only have this to show for... good for like 2 vapes before the wire snap or something... hopefully I will get something that will work consistently.

Fortunately I got some wires before hand, went through the included kanthal really quick...

edit: woohooo! being vaping on the same coil for over an hour now. Definitely need some improvement, but heck, I can go to bed happy now :)

No sediment or particles unless it came off the wick.Sometimes the liquid gets darker,I have seen posted that the coil is not completely vaporising the liquid and the remnants of the "cooked" liquid makes the rest of the liquid turn darker.I think the "lighter"
liquids are being wicked better than the "heavier" liquids and making the color change.Yes,you can vape a DID to the last drop.

Pyrex is what I'm using on my DiD........Wow talk about clean pure ROBUST FLAVOR. I thought my pyrex carto tanks were so much better in clean flavor and juice longevity, but a GEN Atty with a Pyrex tank is hands down the best "true to taste" flavor reproduction tank I've used to date. J

Hi VAPN, some people have been asking - where did you get the Pyrex tank? Does it fit the regular DID?

Did you mod the Pyrex yourself?
