Unfortunately, the closest hobby shop is 60 miles away. But....I used to be into the RC off road cars & trucks & have some buried away. I might get lucky.Try a hobby store for nuts and screws. Some of the nuts from one of my RC Helicopters fits the center post.
Yeppers, all but one of my three DIDs came very fast. One got tangled up in NY customs for 10 or 12 days, but Jim has no control over that.
thinkin of getting a few more of these ??? after i check out the 2 other different attys that are coming

Well, I DID it again! Just ordered a shorty. Now I need to get a cool mod for it or grab a Provari Mini.... more decision!

Question for DID users: What are some of your perceptions in the way flavors come through with The DID? Did you find yourself not liking flavors that you previously cared for? Did you begin loving flavors that were previously so-so?

Mr. Mann, the DID didn't really change my opinion of disliked flavors, but what it did do was to really bring out the flavors that I already love. I also vape a lower nic juice with the DID and get the same satisfaction. Very efficient at delivery!

DID you lower your nic because consumption went through the roof with generous clouds to boot, or because the delivery is so much more efficient? Or both?
I would say both, but it's probably mostly because of the excess plumes of vapor. The DID delivers...lol.

That's what I suspected! I have seen videos where it looked like it took two to three exhales to finally clear out all the vapor! Jeez-us Jiminy, I have never seen so much vapor.
Same for me. The flavor increased 10 fold.
I tossed one bottle of juice that was even awfuller after steeping for 6 months. I couldn't stand it on my eGo during trial taste runs. It was downright pathethic awful, all chemically tasting, in the DiD. Yet the same exact flavor by a different company was so out of this word crazy good in my DiD and plain yummy in my eGo.
It might be the "batch", I'll give the companies that benefit of the doubt. Some batches just turn out horrible and some turn out spectacular, but either one will be magnified in the DiD.
Thank goodness we can direct drip any new to our DiD flavors.
Jim, Received 2 duds today they don't thread on to any 510 connection I have. Inspection with magnifying glass shows burs on threads . I think from a dull tool. I have had this problem with other attys in the past so I know how to repair others may not. As always have a nice day !!!
Got my shipping notice today for a Short-DID. Plus some kind soul off here has sent me some PTFE tubing for insulating the wick.
Much improved flavor. I can't stand cartos/clearos anymore (although dripping for taste testing still tastes good). I had some flavors I really liked in a DCT tank (mostly coffee/cappachinos) which are not so good on the DID. Funny though, I also don't like them in the DCT tank anymore. Guess I'll mix them into other stuff later. I had completely given up on tobacco flavors, but now the flavor is so good I'm totally digging some RY4's, Boba's, Gorilla Juice. Flavors in there I never knew existed...
