hi, I would try putting tape over half of the air hole first and see if it helps, then go from there.
I'm waiting for the SS center post and screws for the original DID so I can have them all in one package
That looks really nice. I'll have to order one someday. Hoping for the additional cap soon. But definitely need to keep this on the frontline.

Is there away to increase th using The DID? I did not see any info posted on this subject when I read the thread. I very well may have missed it.

If you don't line up the airhole to the wick, it will produce alot more throat hit, the vapor would suffer abit though. Since it's a little vapor machine, I don't think a little less vapor would be too bad.

You could either do that or apply a little piece of tape to,partially, cover the air hole. Same effect
Of course, as said by Aftermath, your vapor production will take a drastic hit.
