You will not regret buying it. It is the most solidly built genesis I have seen. The large wick means that you can chain vape without worrying about dry hits. You can vape in any position.....no need to stand on your head to help wicking. I can't do clouds like in that video but my banana nut bread juice for some reason makes a ton of vapor. I this also extremely tough. I dropped mine...actually if flew off me lap getting out of my car and hit the concrete at pretty high force....the drip tip broke but all the did got was a minor scratch on the top cap. The provari took the fall well also.
Well that crazy video made my mind up and I ordered a DID. Now I'll go back and read 3140 posts and take notes!!!

I bet the video guy used a double twisted coil method.
I get that kind of vapor off and on with a regular newbie 2/3 coil. And always always a great hit, never a dry hit.
That guy, is zero dry hits, and a continuous consistent clouds of vapor.
I wish he'd take off the cap and let us see the perfect wick wrap.
I wonder if his flavor still rocks?
I would cry if my flavor left the building just for extra vapor when I'm already getting great vapor.
Somebody needs to invite that dude to this thread!!!

I wrapped a 3/4 w/32KA1 and it's coming in around 2.0ohm. Really vapes beautifully. In the beginning I was always going for SR/HR 3.0ohm+ with 4/5's, but I'm coming around to thinking LR is the way to go.

@Uma: your "fun photos" inspired me to try my biggest std DID on my old fat bats. Looked just as funny (unfortunately not purple...), but with an LR wrap really worked well.
haha, right on! Isn't it nice having such a versatile atty?! If one mod breaks or gets lost, it'll fit on another, no problem. I would worry about the weights causing undo stress to the threads of a lighter made mod, but other than that, this one is good to go a n y w h e r e. :)

So you twist two pieces of coil together then wrap it like normal?

The mini-DID lottery will be done this weekend.
Please check your numbers and make any corrections, or if you forgot to enter the contest do it now.
Tomorrow I will close the lottery thread in the evening.
I will make the lottery winner on this Sunday.

Yes.
I've recently stumbled onto this method, and have a lot to learn about it. (sizes of wire, types of wire, how many wraps around the wick, etc).
But here's a tip or two to get started:
1. put the two ends of wire in a vice grip,
2. put the other two ends on a wire coat hanger
3. twist the coat hanger until desired wrap (tension) is reached.
4. this provides uniform twist of the two wires
5 wrap around your wick normally.

(tips from Grizewald... who also discovered the blue flame and the usb zoom from amazon for taking closeup pics and for wrapping your coils)

3/2 wraps at 1.3 ohms on 270 mesh, this thing is a monster, thank you Jim!

What are do you have the ProVari set at? I would like any tips (specific) for the ProVari V2 or any VV for me and The Index.

Maybe its me, but my sweet spot is still 3 wrap, kanthal 32, 3.2 ohms, vv set at 4.4, 50/50 on pg/vg, 8 mg nic, and I get all the vape and TH I can handle. Recently dropped my nic from 16-18 to 8, all thanks to my DID producing incredible vape and TH. I NEVER got close to this satisfaction on cartos or tanks!

Wow! All the way down to 8? So I guess this 32mg will never see the inside of a DID unless I want to be done for it? LOL
