Probably not a unique problem to the DID, but does anyone get an air bubble in the tank creating a 'false fill' effect when refilling? It's happened to me several times. I suppose one could just syringe out the air prior to refilling but is there another quickfix anyone is aware of?

I've had this happen as well. Seems to fake you out if juice gets in the fill hole. It bubles up just like a full tank. I've been using 18ga blunt tip (1.5in) on a syringe and problem gone. Also helps to have the clear tank so you can see where the level is.

I use a needle-tipped bottle in the fill hole. The needle is very short though, approx. 3/4".

Hey Fuzz, I've found the shorter the needle/tip the more issues I have. As soon as the juice creates a bubble or seal if you will in the fill hole it will start reversing upwards. I use a longer blunt tip needle/bottle top and always make sure it goes "completely" thru the fill hole keeping the wick to the top as I fill and the fill hole at the bottom, fill very slowly and it fills perfect with NO blowback. Sometimes I go thru the wick also but the same concept applies, but the wick at bottom and the fill hole at top with screw out to let the air be pushed out by the juice as it enters the juice chamber. Hope this helps someone but I'm sure it's already benn said.

Thanks, looks like longer needle tips are on the next shopping list. I own no needles at present that reach far enough into the tank. Appreciate everyone's suggestions.

I am going to buy one of these but I have a quick question(s). How flush does it sit on the provari? If it does sit really flush, does it matter? I mean do you draw air from the bottom or just through the air hole on the side. Also, can you adjust the air hole to bring it closer or further from the wick. If not, how do you alter throat hit/heat of the vapor? The genesis style atomizer I have right now is nice but it is not pocket-able like this one. It's a tank but top will slip off. The tank on this ones is threaded, correct?

Works great on a Provari. The center pin can either be retracted (by tightening bottom nut) or lengthened by adding on e of the extra tiny o-rongs when installing the center post. Mine sit flush (which I like) and has no affect on air flow as it all comes through the hole in the top cap. The hole is drilled to be directly in front of the wick. Of note, tank top & top cap are a matched set (a cap from one will most likely not match up the hole/wick properly with a cap from another) as folks who have multiples have found out.

For adjusting TH, a couple points of voltage (+/-) make a huge difference.

And last but not least, pocketable - yes. I roll "fat" wicks, so if left on its side over night I have had some minor leakage into the top cap, but normal running around with it in pocket has never given me a problem.

I think it's a common problem. I didn't realize till I replaced with a clear tank. I thought I was going through juice like crazy, but turns out it was me

Here's an odd one for you folks. I picked up a VV Gripper so I don't have to lug around my Provari (had a close call with a near drop the other day). When I run a DID on it, it sort of buzzes. Doesn't buzz with other cartos or attys. Seems to work fine though. I've tried it on 3 different DIDs and they all do it.

Off topic I know, but look at your Sig. You saved so much money already. Thats so awesome. I give up. My Sig is still short the $500 I just spent and I still need carto's and battery's. Hope I live to see a break even. I guess by the time I reach the date on my Sig I will be adding another two years. Maybe I should see if my old analogs went up in price at some point.

So I had to post this...I just got a knock at my door on my 1 day off. The mail lady hands me this tall flat package. WOW !!! The mesh company is deffinately where to go for mesh. I spent like $20 bucks or so and I now have enough 325 and 400 mesh to last years Im sure. I honestly can NOT believe how much I got for that cheap price. Another 9 day turn around for them from order date to delivery date, last time it was 9 days also when I ordered some for a friend. This is awesome!!!!

Thx, but just went back and updated the spends. I am past break-even, but important thing to me is the analogs avoided...

And more DIDs...

I picked up a 200ft kanthal and some wick + 3 drip tips from Carl last week. Just got back from a business trip and picked up my packages. They look great. Nice spool of kanthal without the bends.

I have waited for close to a months for ebay... meanwhile, spent more than what I spent on this 200ft buying short lengths on cards with bends and all from a few vape stores that has this . Glad to find it here.

interesting, are you using the new smok T gripper? I'm using a new one now, 1.9 coil at 4.0v and no buzz what so ever even if i change the voltage. humm! wonder if your gripper has a problem?

Yes, it's the new Smoktech VV Gripper. Noticed the ohm readings are sometime inconsistent with my DID as well (but seem fine with regular cartos or 306 attys). I'm wondering if my center pin being pulled in to allow the DID to sit flush on my Provari are shorting the negative outer ring of the connector (the + pin in the Gripper is pretty wide)

I ummmmmm have the same problem I think it will take me a couple of years to break even. Don't forget to add in the savings your friends have got from quitting smoking. So my annual cost for smoking $1800 then I have to multiply that by 11 (# of folks that quit smoking directly because of my influence .....now I have $1800 x 11 = $19180.... now I feel good about my spending. Actually I am moving strictly to RBA's and have 6 DID's because I like to switch out flavors throughout the day. I have a lifetime supply of mesh and kanthal and am doing DIY juice except for an occasional treat and purchasing 2 juices that are so delicious that I can't possibly create anything that perfect. Those 2 juices I stocked up on during a great sale.I think I have enough nicotine to make 10,000 Gallons of juice.
My lab area worried my house cleaner lady ....I think she was worried that I was making drugs. She actually.lay called me at work to as what exactly was all my stuff for.
