Hey CW, I decided to finally look at the tracking from the site that you provided in post #1377. I see it is in New York. I have read many things about hold-ups, so I won't get my hopes up. But, at least I know that it is near.

And after just checking, mine is in the next town over. Next stop? My house. Likely tomorrow. Finally.

If there are none listed you may want to send a PM or email to have him add availability so you can add to your cart. He may be at capacity for the next shipment date, in which case you may just need to check back on the site on Monday. He tries not to have a long wait so works a week at a time.
Sorry if this has been covered before but 200 is a lot o pages to go through :) Can someone tell me how you go about placing a pre-order? The website say soy can pre-order but you can't just toss one in your Cart and pay. So anyone know, or ami missing something else ?

If you guys dont see much of me here its cause I am enjoying my DID. A LOT.. I got the dreaded hot spot up top today. It seemed like all my hardware was out to get me today. Here was the two issues. To much slack on the top coil. Also when I fixed that the wire was to far over when it was coming off of the upper nut (To much wire in the air between the two). Hope it helps.

Im happy for everyone getting in on this Atty. It really is easy once you learn the tricks. The hard part can be finding and learning the tricks but a bump on the head and it will click. How easy was that. Only took me a day to figure it out . Once you get past that then its more like a matter of seconds and your fixed up when issues arise. :toast:

Vaping the did is way better then a stinky! Don't even want a real one after the Did. Couldn't say that even with the resurrector carto and they were the best to me. You know you have a short when it tastes like a red, :).

I get maybe one short per day but normally its easy to fix with a wood screw and a coil bump. I just got lazy today when it wanted more. Pulled to hard on the wick and made slack. So I got the Arry tank with a fresh Boge. Must have got a bad batch. Had to deal with a nasty burnt taste in my mouth for hours. Not recommended by the way.

Yesterday I decided to re-coil my mesh. I found some kanthal in a drawer and made 5 wraps. I was too lazy to get my multimeter. When I put the assembled DID on my ProVari it showed 3.5 ohms! Wow! It just rocks! I vape this on 6 volts and it is really an ... kicker. My only complaint can be that a full tank lasts for about 3 hours... :)

Hey guys! Haven't been on the forums in about 2 weeks, just checking in to see how everyone is doing and to see if anyone has received their Mini DIDs yet?

Still waiting. I think Jim said Mini pre-orders would ship around the 20th and that SS pins/nuts (nice looking top cap setup, same as what's in the mini pics) will hopefully be available for the Std & Shorty by the end of this week.

LOL, no doubt about it. When she's hitting on all 8 cylinders, you can watch (if you have the clear Kir Fanis tank) the bubble popping out of the bottom of a fat wick. Kinda looks like a personal/portable lava lamp...

Would appreciate hearing from any DID-friendly mechanical mod owners out there. I don't own one presently but have my eye on a few, and certainly my interest in these has been more than kindled recently by some of the fantastic pics in the DID thread.

I don't know at this point if a mechanical mod is for me; I'm really enjoying my vmaxes and am a little concerned about losing the VV functionality and convenience of instant resistance checks on the DID. I suppose I could always just use the vmax to set up the coils / wicks properly then transfer the DID onto a mechanical mods.

Any thoughts? Do any mechanical mods work better than others with the DID? I must say that P+ is calling to me. But I remain uncertain as to whether I'm actually looking for reasons to buy one or not to at this point :)

Mechanical mods are great for the eyes and for your hands. Some of them are masterpieces!
Nevertheless I strongly suggest to buy a Kick and use it with any you buy (just check whether the one you chose is compatible with the Kick).
Once you got used to the VV heaven of changing volts and to have the same vape quality from the first till the last straw of your battery it is very hard to go back to mechs.

I use my DID on a Kicked Siam Cube. It looks great and feels so good to hold.

You said it Cyber. I agree. My DID has seen 3.5V-5.5V. I hear the VMax is a hot PV so I was thinking about getting one for my DID. Will try out the Provari first and see how I like it. I save the fixed V PV's for things like Orion's, and Zenesis'. At this point I have had 2 of each. But I agree also that the P+ looks great under a DID.

Mine works great even on my old should be retired Silver Bullet, and it would be a baddasz if it were on a P+ flattop. Especially the new improved and gorgeous P+ http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...954-improved-preciseplus-available-order.html

I would be caught out in the rain if I didn't have my mechanical mods (Reo Grand, SB, Marks Mod, Copper Q3v7yaddablabla, etc). I have yet to get my hands on a P+ but I certainly aim to by years end.

I'm on the interest list right now for the awesome new Chameleon. Finally a tiny 18650 stealth mod with customizable wrap and fitted cap. (so far he has the DID and the HF fitted to a seamless Tee). Very very exciting!! (and he promises affordable too).

Check out the DID on it!!

edit to say: Everyone needs a mechanical backup for when their fancy gadgets need a rewiring or menu fix or fuse replaced or whatnot. The mechanical just needs a wipe down and sometimes a spring replaced. easy peasy.

Try different browsers.
On my FF, the DID link takes me to homepage with Scott's video. There is no shopping link at all. I can't even put it into my wish list.
Same with the Shorty DID.
BUT, in Chrome, I get the shopping page link with the DID SHORTY.

The mini works in both.

@Jim: Shopping carts are not showing up in all browsers. :(
