I pay for this thread and one more that I can have open!
So I think with respect to everybody,that here is a place to help people with my products
to help people with DID tinkerings and setups
for the copies I think that someone has to open a thread for this products!
Why to spent my thread for other products?
I have allready a big thread and with the help of some people here we try to make my products "manual"
I say again that I put my head down with all of my respect to ALL OF YOU and ask for this thread to be for my products!

You are 100% right and fair in what you say Jim.
I like the idea of having a mechanical mod from you to pair with my DID from you.
I do hope you are going to launch one before I get tempted elsewhere, I really (and I don't think I'm alone here)
would like to support you by buying more of your products.
I love my DID and since I have received it ALL my other atomizers are gathering dust, abandoned and unloved.

Frogster I agree with what your saying and as I said over there I never read through the whole thread...admittedly not everyone can afford the real thing, and tbh before I bought my DID I was teetering over buying a knock-off of another rba atty until I read about poisoning etc from inferior materials...now wether the poisoning is correct or not, I would rather play as safe as poss and buy something of quality in the hope that the vendor/maker is being honest in the materials used...so I waited a little while longer and saved some cash and hit the buy button...but if someone else wants to take a risk and believe that these cheaper versions are made to the same standard then that is their choice.

Hi guys kinda new to thus thread. Im waiting for my did to ship to start my rba journey.. I got a newbie question.. I own a twist and a provari, u guys r starting to talk about "mechanical mods".

How is a mechanical mid different that a provari?? Can u still adjust voltage? And if so how? What r the positives of a mechanical mod? Ive seen pics of the ggts and with the buttob on the bottom, but dont know how they differ...

Mechanical is exactly as it sounds (surprisingly enough...).
All mechanical, no electronics whatsoever.
Many (myself included) prefer to set-up the coil to our liking as opposed to adjusting voltage on the device itself.
The benefits, to me, are...
Typically smaller devices (no need for space to be taken up by electronics)
Better battery life (no drain to power the electronics or regulate the voltage)

Some people prefer the Variable Voltage as it does deliver consistent power throughout the battery charge, but personally, I find the drop is barely noticeable when the coil is set-up right.

I use my DID on the ProVari on occasion, but have a Megalodon in transit which will likely be the device it sits on 99% of the time.

Right now, its on a Uranos telescoping mod (that I have up for grabs in the Classy's).

As much as I hate to say it, the ProVari gets less and less use lately.

And mods like the Megalodon you can just insert a tube extension to go from 18350 to 18650, with the Uranos or other telescoping, you just thread it out to change size, etc... Incredibly simple, and flexible...

I also HIGHLY recommend this type of mod for a beginner as it takes the voltage out of the equation and keeps the focus on the coil.
Less variables = less frustration IMO..

i totally agree with this,,i have provaris and mortars,,

the mortars are about the simplest design made,if the coil is too low of an ohm then the battery protection kicks in and that is just frigging annoying !!!!! because then you have to wait for the batt to cool down before you can use it again

Here's the problem "I" have with that though... (Clearly all personal preference)

The higher you crank the voltage to compensate for a higher ohm coil, the faster you drain the battery. Personally, the ProVari Mini is as big size wise of a mod that I want to go with which means I'm already limiting my battery.

I get much better life out of my 18350's when I set-up the coil to my preference and let the battery just do its thing.

It takes a little (generally very little) bit of fiddling at first for each atty, but I know exactly what I like on the DID, and I can just slap it on whatever manual mod I want and know I'm going to get consistent performance. I love having the same vaping experience and being able to change the form factor of the battery mod itself.

A little extra kanthal to experiment at first, to me, was well worth the simplicity, and improved battery life.

I find my wicks last months, and coils last a month at minimum at this point.

Therefor they can crank out >15 watts of power. Other than the reasons stated by Vapor2112 above, it all comes down to power. Also, it's been mentioned that ultra low resistance coils seem to heat up quicker and provide a more instantaneous response to power. Personally, I find that I get more than enough pleasure vaping below 15 watts so I prefer to be able to tune my PV to the atty with VV, not to mention the fact that the voltage is regulated throughout the battery life. There is no "right" way to use these, just what works for you. I can tell you that I could never go back to carto's or atty's again. Once mastered (and it's not that hard to do) there is nothing better!

That's the best part of this, there are options for each of us to get what WE want. There is no single "right" answer...

It'd be like debating 18650 vs 18350 batteries... They each serve their purpose and we'll always have our own preferences..
