I had a similar issue. I had purchased multiple DIDs and shuffled the top caps. None were aligned. properly. Several in this forum suggested trying different caps. Voila I got the right cap on the right DID. If you purchased more than 1 DID it may be worth checking this.
As for the O ring ----several of us thought the spare O ring was supposed to go on the threads and sported our DIDs with the O ring for some time before being enlightened.
I totally resemble that remark! I had o-rings everywhere.

I bought my DID together with a workmate, I'll try to swap top caps with him tomorrow : )

You can hit 20 watts with a Provari V2 (1.8ohm@6.0v = 20.0watts/3.3amp)

This is not true. The provari has a 3.5 amp limit in the lower voltages then a 14.5 watt limit in the higher voltages. It is unfortunate. Mine has not been getting as much use scene I got my dids I don't know why they had to go and put that watt limit on it. With my V2! I can only output 5.1-5.2 with a 1.8 ohm coil provape will confirm this

Hi guys, got my DID 1 week ago and tried many configurations... I didn't found anything but my air hole is not perfectly aligned with the wick.
At first I thought it wouldn't matter but after unsccrewing the top cap to make the hole in front of the wick it made a HUGE difference.

So is there a way to make the top cap screw a bit more? Mine doesn't get to the point where it's in front of the wick but stops before...
Or are your air hole perfectly aligned or do you unscrew the top cap?

I always thought that the variable throat hit in the Zenesis with wasn't a big deal but now I can see his point...

Same problem here, I use an O ring.

It's a painting I made of my Irish Woolfhound, Armellon, who sadly I had to let go last year.
Most kind and sweet caracter I've ever met, an honor to have had him in my life...
I miss him like no other, and like to have him with me when I explore new horizons. :)

What kind of dog is Ollie. From the looks it's an Irish too!!!
(heart is jumping ;-) )
Same big black corck...

Well if you made the painting of your dog, then I salute you - awesome. He was TRULY your best friend.

Sorry to bring this back up...but I'm riled.

I have just been over at another forum I sometimes frequent and I'm disgusted...there are long standing members recommending and doing reviews of DID knock-off's...needless to say I spoke up.

++++++++++++++++++++====10 on that

I have loved all my dogs, but with some of them there is just this special connection which can not be explained unless one has had the same experiance.
As for the grief and cry...it's just culture, not humaneness that devides man and woman...

Agreed Brigit...I have had a special connection with all my dogs...part of the family.

He's a Bernoodle (1/2 Bernese Mountain Dog, 1/2 standard Poodle). We found him after our last passed on (the house just didn't seem complete). Took us a long time to find a big dog that doesn't shed, doesn't drool and is as hypo-allergenic as possible (one of my sons has asthma). He just turned 4 years old and still acts like a puppy. It's a sight to behold when he starts "frapping" (that's what we call it when puppies playfully run around the house full speed).

OK, dog talk, sorry DIDers, but dog talk drags me in. My dogs, all I've had and have, are my buddies. Each time 1 leaves me, I say no more, then another needs a rescue, and there i am.
I swear, when they pass from me the trauma makes me never want to experience it again, but what can you do. My current pal is Brodie, a mutt rescued at age 5 from the Katrina floods, that was obviously loved before finding my wife and I.

Frogster I agree with what your saying and as I said over there I never read through the whole thread...admittedly not everyone can afford the real thing, and tbh before I bought my DID I was teetering over buying a knock-off of another rba atty until I read about poisoning etc from inferior materials...now wether the poisoning is correct or not, I would rather play as safe as poss and buy something of quality in the hope that the vendor/maker is being honest in the materials used...so I waited a little while longer and saved some cash and hit the buy button...but if someone else wants to take a risk and believe that these cheaper versions are made to the same standard then that is their choice.

I agree with that. On that note I will post part of what I just wrote on another thread

Agreed, I dont trust China with having human or animal interests at the forefront:
considering China's long legacy food problems, including the 2008 melamine-tainted milk incident where roughly 300,000 people were injured and at least six infants died as a result of being poisoned by the toxic chemical Other tainted food from China has included melamine-tainted pet foods, lead-tainted children's cups, and even another fake rice case where a Chinese company added synthetic flavorings to ordinary rice to trick people into thinking it was the more expensive "Wuchang" variety

Yeah right. Like the west <does> have human or animal interests at the forefront. I think not.

Taco Bell, Kraft, McD etc. Genetically modified ingredients etc.

And as for human rights and interests? Don't even go there :)

Can we talk about the DID? All this talk of Chinese is making me hungry.

Now where DID I put the Soy sauce?
