Hey are there any Provari owners out there that can comment on how the 510 connector on the DID fits with the Provari? Is it perfect or does it have a slight wobble? Also would you guys recommend the brass positive pole or the stainless steel? Thanks in advance!

No wobble and I prefer brass for conductivity have not tried stainless steel.

Just got home to a response from the DID Pyrex vendor. I was informed that he will check with company policy and respond back.
This is the best response on glass since May! I'll post back with outcome. I'm letting Jim know as well. Too many people want glass not any plastic. My plastic's did not work at all with my juices.

Congrats for purchasing the DID! We're all here to help as you go along. Your first question is answered with a huge YES! The first page has a wonderful index of the basics, organized by Mr.Mann. The first page also has Videos to learn from, MMVapors and Igetcha69 both are great places to start.
Not too long ago, CloudWizard did a complete written outline as well. HERE

Enjoy the journey! It's well worth the effort. (and not that hard once you've been there, done that).

Thanks! Tried some b-grade gennys, was about to let them go. Then I saw how accessible the DID is, especially for reinforcements and support. Based on research I realize that any fail here is on me.

No wobble. Perfect. Snug without too snug. I'd go with SS as well and I've had both. Strength is one reason.

Hey guys i just got my shorty did for 4 days now, im just concerned because i do get clouds of vapor without the burned taste but the flavor seems to be muted, any suggestions?

Rocky. I'm sure you will get some help here. My next comment is no reflection on you just what I've seen the ecig stuff develop into.

Your comment reminded me of Dennis Leary. Coffee skit. Do they make coffee flavored coffee!
I'm all about th and nic. Use 5% Tobacco flavor. I'm smoking. Not having a ice cream. I would even go so far a I like the burnt taste on a dry wick. :) that's (smoking) burning.
Just me. This ecig stuff is great. But we are not smoking anymore. We are vaping food.
I'm still old fashion with my smoking.

Try holding the did level or even pointed down a little you will get more flavor.

Now that i have my mech mod, I decided to try low res on big DiD. I twisted an arm length of kanthal 30 into a braided coil. I whipped up a 4 wrap on my fat 500 mesh wick. Ohm at 1.4. Thoughts: I always made an assumption that my vv mod cranked up on a 2.5-3.0 ohm coil was achieving the same vape as a low res because wattage was the same. I now think that assumption was wrong. Primarily, the hit on a low res is instantaneous. Short pull big hot vape. On my vv mod the build up was slower. You know, kind of primer puff, followed by good vape. Not on this low res. Pow, your there. Flavor seems fuller. I now am beginning to understand the lure of low res. Btw, wrapping the braided coil is much cleaner, than straight 32. No shorts, barely any coil adjustments. Easy. The key is to snug the top nut down well on positive lead. I use a needle nose to tighten top nut to center pole. No top shorts at all!

Try rotating the tank with each new drag, until you notice a flavor change. (the direction of the airhole can make a difference). Once you find a more flavorful for you direction, you can vape it there or twist the tank into desired position. (hold the knurl, twist the tank).

Try reTorching your wick and reSeasoning it.

Try another flavor. Some flavors seem to be meh in any genny, even the DID. Fruit, sweet flavors seem to be the most popular.

LOL, yes, and a new front door as well!
haha, yes, and those 25% off sales get the best of us vapers every time. It's a conspiracy I tell ya!

Does anyone have DID's that has both the SS & BRASS center poles? Which performs better for you? I knoe that SS Is not a good conductor so i hope you guys that have both can give a clearer review for this :)

I've used both. I cant tell the difference. Advantage to the ss kit. It stays cleaner and the bottom nut is different. It is easier to build you don't need to hold both nuts.
Actually I lost one nut. It's in one of our jets. Forever flying.
so I have more thread on top. Less likely to twist that one off the top. Changes airflow I guess. But I haven't seen a difference. I enjoy this set up...

Let me explain this coil set up.

During one of my flights I needed to fill the tank. As I was unscrewing the fill screw my big fingers loosened the top nut on the center post. ( not shown in the pic ) I filled the tank and put the fill screw back in. As I went to tighten the top nut it fell off and bounced on the cockpit floor. I looked for it from NC to TX. Flashlight and all. Seat forward and back. Hands and knees. I'm still ...... the plane ate it. It's now hanging out with a peanut forever!

So I then had to lower my top coil to go under the second nut. Since its still working great I haven't recoiled it.

The reason I got the ss was I messed up and broke my brass center post. If not fit that I would still have brass.

I am also using both and they perform equally well. I am less nervous about breaking the SS center post. I LOVE the new type of screw in the juice hole, I kept the Allen wrench screw in the negative hole as it feels much more secure this way. The top nuts are smaller than the brass and this makes coiling easier.
